He's having a great season, not only defending really well but developing a really interesting offensive game and he's showed great rebounding instincts. I don't know if you've realized, but Nocioni has recorded 8 consecutive double-doubles; with four 20-10 games. Just some recognition for Andres' game.
Yeah, most people are excited. They say it about every game when the game is done that Noc is continuing his streak.
Yeah, it’s been a very good stretch of games for Noc. In fact it’s the longest streak of double doubles since Elton Brand was traded. Andres is one of the teams unsung hero’s he is a tough defender, and good offensive player. His name is often lost in the shuffle when you think of the Bulls, but he is as big a part as anyone too this teams success.
Ahh, the streak ended today, he only had 7 boards. But, doesn't matter as long as he keeps contributing and plays like he is.
On NBA TV they said last 8 games he's averaging 18/11 a game, thats impressive especially fromt he SF slot.

Skiles has choosen to go with a smaller lineup with the front court of Deng/Allen, Nocioni, and Sweetney.
The season-ending injury to Darius Songaila left 20+ minutes to be split among players like Nocioni and Sweetney, and they all stepped up; but the young Bulls need to stay healthy and need all their good players on the court so defenses can't adjust to the point of negating a talented guy like Nocioni during a 7-game series.
