Wade & Posey Expected to Play Tonight

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">
Riddled by injuries or illness to key players in recent weeks, the Heat received encouraging news Thursday on several fronts:
? Guard Dwyane Wade, who missed Tuesday's Toronto game because of the flu, returned to practice and will play tonight against Philadelphia.
? Forward James Posey, who missed the past seven games because of right Achilles tendinitis, practiced and is set to play tonight, coach Pat Riley said.
? Center Alonzo Mourning, recovering from a partially torn right calf muscle, is expected to be ready for the Heat's playoff opener April 22 or 23, Riley said. It's unlikely he will play in a game before that.
''He's ahead of schedule, and we're very hopeful,'' Riley said. ``I hope he's ready before then so he can have some good practices.''
? Point guard Jason Williams, who has not played since April 1 because of right knee tendinitis, wants to play in two games before the playoffs, and Riley said he will consider it. Riley said April 5 that he would rest Williams for the final eight games of the regular season, and he still might.
But Williams said Thursday he is feeling no pain and ``would like to [play] two games -- 15, 20 minutes a night -- to get my feet wet again.''
If Williams plays in one game, it could be any of the final three.
If Williams plays in two games, one would be Sunday against Chicago, and the other likely would be Tuesday's game at Atlanta. The Heat closes Wednesday at Boston.
''I know he wants to play, but we want to be practical about it,'' Riley said

Why rush them back? The Heat have secured the two seed already, they might as well start resting their key players and have them healthier and fresh for the post season.

Right now the Heat are scheduled to face the Pacers and Indiana is going to give them all they want in Round 1.

If Posey is recovering from tendinitis, I would definatly not play him. D-Wade is a bit tougher and only had the flu but Posey, ever since he screwed me in my fantasy league I've been iffy on him lol.
