Dwight Howard finishes with 28 points and 26 rebounds, in a clutch performance by both he and Jameer in a "win or be eliminated" game.

The Magic were down by 2 and Dwight went to the line for 2. He hit the first, and missed the second, only to get an offensive rebound from his own missed free throw, and hits a hook shot to give us a one point lead. It was no turning back from there.

Such an awesome game. Needless to say Dwight owned the glass. After the game, in an interview, Dante Marchitelli said that it looked like a playoff game and Dwight agreed. We actually have a chance at the playoffs, this is great!

Proud Magic fan right here! [IMG]

So in case of a tie between Magic and Sixers for 8th spot, who gets in?

The Magic do because we won the season series. Dwight played oustanding and that is under-estimating him by saying that. Dwight is going to tear it up in the future.

i think the magic are out even if yall win the rest of ur games and the bulls lose the rest the series is tied and bulls win the tiebreaker i think. for some reason it doesnt say it on nba.com.

If there is a 3-way tie between Philly, Chicago, and Orlando; then Orlando will make the playoffs.

Thus, Chicago must lose 3, Orlando must win 2, and Philly must win/lose 1.

if philly loses 1 more game they are out of the playoffs if philly wins automatically and it wont be a three way possibly a two way.

Philadelphia is 37-43 if philly lose one more philly is 37-44
bulls are 38-41 and is bulls lose all the rest of their games they are 38-41
orlando is 36-44 if yall win the rest its 38-44 and yall are tied with chicago

orlando 38-44 and chicago 38-44 which is a 2 way tie and bulls win by conference wins orlando im including the wins if you beat chicago and indiana it is only 26-28 and if chicago loses all they will be 27-25. bulls win the tie.

i think im right if im not mistaken i learned how to do this stuff less then a week ago. lol

no im right orlando is out. here the the tiebreaker rules

    TIEBREAKER RULES
    (1) head-to-head
    (2) division record(if the teams are in the same div)
    (3) conference record
    (4) record VS playoff teams, own conference
    (5) record VS playoff teams, other conference
    (6) net points, all games

bulls will still have the higher conference record.

looks possible but chicago has to loose 3 games and Ben Gordan had a hot hand last night, 9-9 from 3.

If we beat you and win out, then we would have a 2-1 head to head over you, so we would have the tiebreaker.

Either way, we are off topic, Dwight was something else tonight. Only if he could have it some more free throws. But what won us the game was a balanced attack from Dwight, Jameer and Hedo. If one of those guys didnt step it up tonight we would have lost. The bench was not on the court a whole lot tonight and was more effective at defense than offense.

Hats off the Magic crowd, I was at the game and it was crazy. I think they said it was a sellout, but either way it was loud and fun. The game itself was close and I had Philly fans behind me yelling. I ordered season tickets for next season. Next year is gonna be crazy if we continue to play like this.

I was told I was crazy thinking Jameer could be an all star. But I see absolutely no reason why not. This team is moving in the right direction, Dwight a definite all-star next year, and Jameer has a good shot. Hedo might even have a shot too.

You guys think I'm crazy? I was told Jameer has no shot because Bibby wasn't even an all-star yet, but I see notyhing that makes Bibby clearly better than Nelson.

Can you guys believe this is actually happening? A couple of monthes ago, what would you have said if someone told you the Magic might make the playoffs? I would have just laughed and said you need to start actually watching them. Even a few weeks ago I would have said unless we dump our entire roster and sign Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, God and the Twelve freakin Disciples, there was no way we were making it to the postseason. But now, we have a chance. Our team is playing the best basketball out of any team in the NBA right now (except maybe the Nets) and we are showing how bright our future is.

Now moving on to Dwight Howard. Is this kid amazing or what? 28 points and 26 rebounds when his team needs it most. I didn't get a chance to see the game because I had to go to church last night but when I saw those stats I couldn't believe it. Howard is maturing at a quick rate and I think this is just a glimpse of what we will consistently see in the future. Dwight Howard is going to be the next Kevin Garnett, guarenteed. Let's just hope he can win a championship unlike KG. Jameer is also proving he can run this team and by next season he will be a star.

I'm so excited about even having the chance to make the playoffs and I'm pumped to be a Magic fan again. Let's all keep in mind that anything can happen too. Just look at the Gators (GatorsOwnsTheSEC would be proud), they started the season unranked and came out as champions. Let's start our cinderella story and get in the playoffs. GO MAGIC!

On nba.com it says if Orlando is tied with either philly or Chicago the final spot (8th seed) it will go to Orlando.

I'm on the Magic bandwagon right now. What they're doing is just terrific. I hope they can keep it up.

What a great story if they could sneak into the playoffs and actually knock off the Pistons.
