Rumors around the net say The Vikes have just Acquired Tony Fonoti for a 7th round pick! If true what a Fricken deal for the Vikes!

Thank goodness! One thing I trust Tice on is the offensive line. Hopefully this guy can come in and make an immediate impact.

He's out with some sort of injury for a little while though, plus he's gonna need sometime to learn the new scheme, good pick up by the Vikes though, which brings me to my next point...

THANK YOU FOR TRYING TED THOMPSON YOU CHEAP ASS S.O.B!!!!!

Ya know, FP. Seth McKinney (current Dolphins Center) should be available next March. He makes a better OG if you ask me.

However, their will competition from the Texans who alreadt have former phin Todd Wade and Seth's Bro - Steve.

Yeah Seth is kind of like Grey Ruegamer(WHO should be starting right NOW!) he can play at just about any of the interior spots on the line admirably. He'd be a good addition to just about any O-Line in the league, he was a FA this year too right? If so then the Pack should have gone after him back in March!

It wasn't official if it is a 7th round. The pick is pending depending on what happens when he gets his hand checked from the doctors.

Boy thats a great deal especially with Marcus Johnson struggling as a rookie.

If he develops well, and Marcus Johnson continues to develop, we could have a halfway decent line next year. Throw in there a possible 1st round draft or a good free agent pickup and we could be very solid.

Very good pickup, especially for a 7th/conditional 6th rounder.

Johnson was considered to be Mike Tice's top offensive linemen prospect for the 2005 Draft. Like VF has said Tice does know a thing or two about lineman. I think Johnson will be a good guard but he was thrown into a pack of wolves right away. No Matt Birk and they played a good Tamp defensive line. He looked pretty good last week against the Bears. I've only got to watch 3 Viking games so far. No one looked good against Atlanta though.
