I've no doubt Kobe will go off a few times and the Lakers might steal a game or two, but i'd be shocked beyond belief if they got over either team.

I hope you get the Suns though. Their manipulating to avoid Sacta and get the Lakers might just bite them hard on the arse, and i hope it does.

KOBE will definitely be the most dangerously. I think they will make it at least to the western conference finals.

Kobe Bryant - How can anyone not mention him? He's been the Lakers' carrier all year long, he's not about to stop now. Kobe is a physical specimen in the sense that, he never tires. He won't gas out near the end of the season, like a lot of players do. He took a lot of jumpers this year, which is pretty easy on the body (the reason why Ray Allen could play until he's 40). Expect to see less jumpers and more drives to the basket. He can score anytime he wants. He won't be shooting bad, he's torched the Suns this year, but the Lakers have failed to do the same because they haven't had the consistency against them that they finished the year out.

That's possible for the Lakers if they play to their full potential. If they don't, I could see a first round exit in 6 or 7 games.

Hit the head on the nail... err... [IMG]

But seriously. I completely agree with you. Do people not understand how bad Kobe wants to redeem himself to everyone? More than you think. He is out on a mission. These last regular season games have been small previews of play-off Kobe [hard drvies to the hole as well as effecient shooting]. Funny that one missed play-offs and everyone forgets how deadly Kobe is in the post-season. He definitely turns his game up a notch, offensively and defensively. Everyone will find out in due time, worry not. I can't wait until the play-offs. MJ's 63 against Boston in Double-OT are certainly in danger of being topped as the most points by a player in the P-Os. Kobe is going to light up the Suns [no pun intended] like never before. And with Kwame, LO, and Luke's newfound confidence... This could actually be a series ladies and gents.[IMG][IMG]

That sounds like Lamar. If there were ever a time to be Pippen to Kobe's Jordan, this is it.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">average bloke</div>

You think Kobe's an average bloke? Wow.

Anyways- The reason Kobe's the most dangerous in the playoffs is because he's been the most dangerous all season. If the Lakers play the Suns, Kobe will have a phenominal series because he's averaged 43ppg against this year on 47% shooting.

Last sunday the Lakers toyed with the suns, and yes I know they were without Nash and Bell but they were still running, and the Lakers were able to control the tempo. If LA forces PHX to be a half-court team I gaurantee you LA will make it to the second round.

If you think about it- half of the Laker Squad is playing with the "chip on the shoulder mentalitity" that encompasses Kobe Bryant.

Lamar wants to prove he can be Kobe's pippen, and wants to prove that he has finally reached his potential.
Kwame wants to prove he's not a bust and that he is a force to be reconned with, he wants to prove everyone wrong.
Smush wants to prove he belongs in this League and show EVERYONE why they should give him a long term contract.
Chris Mihm wants to make a strong comeback from injury to help his team, and hopefully get his starting spot back.
Jim Jackson wants to prove he deserves playing time and can still light it up from out side for 15 a night.
Kobe wants to show the whole god damn f.u.c.k.i.n.g world that he's a winner and the best and the MVP- by returning a title to LA.
Phil wants to prove that he is a good coach and not just someone that rode the coatails of superstars like Michael, Scottie, Kobe and Shaq, as well as a long list of other hall of fame veterans.

That's a pretty motivated hungry, and somewhat pissed (Kobe) group right there. I'm not betting against em.

I wouldn't put too much faith in beating a Nash-less Suns who were trying to manipulate the seeds so they can avoid Sacta first up.

Before that game, you hadn't beaten them since Shaq left.
They'd won 7 straight against you, by an average of 12 points.

For the 7th seed with 44 wins you guys are remarkably confident, with some even talking up making the west finals (it's been almost 20 years since a 7th seed made the conference finals).

And? Does that make Kobe's indiscretions any more right?

I'm not saying he's an awful person, simply that he's disliked because of his arrogant attitude and indiscretions.

BTW At the very least he cheated on his wife. And where i come from good blokes don't do that.

I didn't once comment on his ability.

Of course he's the most dangerous guy in the playoffs, but please don't confuse the two issues.

    Huh?

I've not said anything about the Lakers or their playoff hopes.</div>
That whole speech wasn't just towards you. I'm not gonna respond to those because it will just go off topic [IMG]

Kobe is the most dangerous player, for sure. But still, I don't believe that they can beat the Suns.

Kobe is the most dangerous but they won't get past the Suns.

I think Dwyane Wade and Gilbert Arenas will have the best playoffs this year.

I think it's either Kobe Bryant or Chauncey Billups...Kobe will probably go for at least 40 every night, and Billups will hit the shots for his team to advance.

Either way I can't wait for it to start [IMG]

The most dangerous if he tries to take over the game by himself?

    <font color=""Purple"">Kobe Bryant.</font>

The player that has the most to prove in the playoffs?

    <font color=""Purple"">Kobe Bryant.</font>

The player who is out to break the playoff record for scoring?

    <font color=""Purple"">Kobe Bryant.</font>

Who will play the best and win in the playoffs?

    <font color=""Red"">Dwyane Wade</font>[IMG]

Kobe easily... Wade close 2nd. I think LeBron will do ok but this is his first time in the playoffs, I dont think he will do as good as Kobe or Wade but will still have a good performance.

    Kobe Bryant.

He`s the player that teams will have a problem with. He`s the player that will cause the most scare in the West.
