dorrell wright shot 3-5 from the 3pt arc. That's what we need, that's our weakness that's how we get blown out by phx and the likes. Bulls had steve kerr when they needed 3s. MJ would tell you there's no I in team. So would shaq n wade. Remember how far shaq made it with orlando when he had nick anderson and dennis scott.
I couldn't agree more. That's why I thought the Heat would struggle without the presence of the Jones'. While Jason Williams and Antoine Walker are more talented, they're not exactly what the Heat needed. Walker has and never will be an efficient scorer with a career shooting percentage of 41.6%. And Jason Williams has performed better than I thought, but he hasn't given the Heat more than what Damon Jones did last season. What made the Heat so dangerous last season was their ability to beat you from the inside and outside. Shaq would draw double teams and kick it out to one of the Jones', two players who shot around 40% from downtown. Now, instead, Shaq passes it out to mediocre shooters who don't do as good a job spreading the floor. I think many thought the Heat needed to be revamped after they lost to the Pistons, but had they not been injured, they could have gone to the Finals and even taken it all. Maybe a cheap scorer like Eddie House would have been okay, but changing key components of the roster hasn't helped with the chemistry. This is why I think the Heat won't advance too far in the playoffs. Maybe even get eliminated in the second round. We'll see though.
