<div class="quote_poster">Quoting hustler:</div><div class="quote_post">I don't think so, if you think about it. Mike James has got his high numbers because he has been taking high amount of shots. What a good pg would do is run a good offence, and just pass the ball to Bosh. I'd say to get a true pg like Ridnour, or even Earl Watson, who is a good pass first pg.

He doesn't make all his shots, he's not Milt Palacio you know.</div>
Actually MJ isn't a volume shooter, he's actually a very high percentage shooter. The problem with him is that he's a ball stopper. If he played off the ball more, people wouldn't think he hogged. He would be the perfect guy to play as a SG next to a big PG, but not everyone has that luxury of a guy like a Livingston.

Mike James can and should shoot a lot, but I don't think that's the issue with keeping him. I find that he constantly runs out the shot clock at the top of the 3 point line just dribbling aimlessly. If he could learn to initiate the offense even a few seconds earlier, then I think we would see a greatly improved point guard worth re-signing. If not, package him with our first rounder and send him for some frontcourt/PG help.
