<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">A. I'll be honest with you, when we were 29-39, I wasn't the most confident guy in the world. In my mind, I was already talking about some things that, postseason, we were going to schedule. That's the way I have to work.

My coaches have said this to me many times: You can never count this group out because they do play hard. I'd like to think our fans can find some pride in what they do every night on the floor. I know we've had issues; we've stunk it up in the United Center on occasion. That said, given what I put them through at the beginning of the season with the [Eddy] Curry situation and how we started the year, they've been a tremendously enjoyable group to watch.

When I think about where we were a couple of years ago, I'm never going to apologize for making the playoffs. Whatever happens from now until the playoffs are over, this is a great learning experience. We understand that we are light-years away from where this organization would like to be. But I look at it as a process, and we've made tremendous strides over the past two years. I'm really proud of the last month, how our guys have played and battled. It has been impressive

I don’t think anyone can sit here, and honestly tell me that they never had even the slightest bit of doubt that this team could make the playoffs. I will admit I doubted them until about the last month of the season. Although, they played hard they just seemed to come up short when it mattered, and let teams make in the game. Oh, how things change going from that, to now probably the most feared lower seeded team in the Eastern Conference.

I agree with BKS - No one woulda been confident with the Bulls being 10 games under .500 to make the playoffs.
