Congrats to Ray...it's great that he got it. Thanks to ESPN I didn't see the record breaking three because they switched to the freakin Lakers game for 2minutes.

For those who couldn't be there... the arena was charged for the first half and charged at the end when they cheered Ray back onto the floor. After those first three shots went in we were were all antsy and mad that Hill made him sit at the start of the second. I know that some will critisize both Hill and Allen, but it was the fan's night and they wanted to thank Ray one more time. I thought they were classy, Bob asked Ray if he wanted to go back in and he went in an gave the fans a few more minutes. Hill and Ray also gave post-game speeches to the crowd where they talked about the rotten (my word, they said, "frustrating", "up and down") season and how excited they are for next year.

ray setting the record is probably the only positive thing happening to seattle this year

signing wilcox and earl watson would be their next goal i hope

Earl Watson is already signed for the next 4 years...I'm curious to see what Wilcox does. Obviously... I'd be pretty upset and surprised if he isn't in a Sonics uniform next season.

Actually...aside from Ray getting the record, we did have more positive things. We've got two very, very promising young centers in Petro and Swifty. Both showed great strides this year. We also got Watson and Wilcox...so I wouldn't say that Ray setting the record was the only positive thing in Seattle this year.

Well barring some breakthrough in negotiations, it's no sure thing the Supes will be in Seattle next year.

Anyway, the game was on ESPN and Tolbert had some nice things to say about our on the court prospects, pretty much what you just said. It must've been the end of the season blahs because Tolbert actually didn't bug me as much as he usually does.

Well...the lease is good through 2010 right? Unless the idiot ownership is so freakin cheap...we should be here till atleast 2010. But then again I don't trust people like Howard Schultz...even though he's got money coming out of....everywhere...he doesn't care about Seattle SuperSonics basketball...and the fact that it's been 40 years since the Supes have been here. I'm gonna get pretty freakin mad if they leave Seattle. I just hope that some people who are willing to put money into the Team, instead of Starbucks, buy the Sonics.

That's no joke.....for example there's a Starbucks in next to Barnes and Noble in downtown Bellevue, then if you walk for two minutes there's one in the Key building, then across the street in the Bellevue transit center there's another one. [IMG]

The Sonics will be dangerous next year. Don't trade anyone other than guys like Danny Forstson or Mike Wilks. We already have the perfect rotation. We'll win the Northwest.
