Who do you want to see in the Finals?
As much as I like to see new teams come out of nowhere, a Spurs-Pistons rematch would be SUCH a heated rivalry, equivalent to Lakers-Celtics, that I have to go with that. Talk about an intense series from the jump.

I don't know, it would be a great series, but just too boring to watch. I'd rather have a Mavs vs. Heat series.

I would have to go with Nets vs Suns. Would be an exciting run and gun game to watch.

I would love to see Lakers vs. Heat. Even though Shaq and Kobe have made up, I think the rivalry would become intense again if there was a championship on the line. Also, there are so many subplots other than the Kobe-Shaq rivalry in that series (Gary Payton and Lamar Odom against their former teams, Phil Jackson back against GP and Shaq, Kobe vs. Wade, etc.) I think it would be very fun to watch and would bring in ratings for the NBA.

I want to see these 4 teams left in the playoff after the second round:

New Jersey vs. Detroit and Mavs vs. Spurs

But I think itz going to be:

    Detroit vs. Spurs

    And Detroit will win!

Since my team is out of it, I just wanna see a good Finals match. With that said, Heat and Mavs would be nice.

The Nets vs. Spurs, it would be the Nets big 3 vs. the Spurs big 3.

    Lakers v. Pistons

I want the Lakers to defeat all the best teams in the post season and go down as one of the biggest upsets in NBA history.

    RND 1 - Defeat Phoenix
    RND 2 - Defeat Denver
RND 3 - Defeat San Antonio
    Finals - Defeat Detroit

Uh, I think that would be The biggest upset in the history of sports.
In fact if they even defeat Phoenix that would be one of the biggest NBA upsets of all time.
As far as the 2nd round, Denver ain't doing nothing in the playoffs. for two reasons: Andre and Miller. He's the new school Stephon.

Amen Shape but I want to change one thing...I want it to be LA over MIA.

This way it's less of a fluke (lol) and it just cements Kobe's status as the best player today, and one of the best ever.

I mean think about it- he win's a title before Shaq does OVER shaq's team, he let's all the new school cats (Dwade) know who's League this still is, and he can make Antoine Walker and Pat Riley bow down after their comments abot his 81 pt game

On the ratings front, how can it get any worse than last year?

People talk about upsets, but I've rarely seen a more wide-open field -- at least in the West. I don't see a dominant team that I'd be shocked to see fall. For as long as I can remember there have been teams that you fully expect to make the Finals or WCF -- and hardly ever did they not make it (both years Houston won I saw what could be termed big upsets in the first round; since then it's been pretty much nada) -- but this year we have a Spurs team that gives off the feeling of being brittle and, beyond them, there isn't one team that I'd place full confidence in to make their conference's championship round let alone the Finals.

In the East, I would be far more surprised if Detroit lost.

Last year was bad, but a Championship with MIL and MEM would be a nightmare. I don't think it would get half the ratings as DET vs SA

The trueth is, no one really wants to see great defense. People prefer teams like Dallas, Miami, or LA simply because they can run and gun.

The only thing great about defense is steals and blocks. That may bring in some ratings, but not as much as 3 pointers and dunks.

My dream finals scenario would be Chicago Bulls Vs. Los Angeles Lakers. With both franchises being in major markets this be an incredible lift in ratings for the NBA. Although, the chances of either team making it there this season is very slim. However, if the Bulls continue to develop their young talent, and the Lakers bring in some more talent to surround Kobe. It is very possible that this finals may happen in the near future.
