TOP 5 to Win Championship
1.Spurs - Tony Parker is playing better then last year when they won the championship. I think he will step up big and Ginobli will come alive in the playoffs.

2.Pistons - Best starting 5 in the league want their title back! They will have homecourt advantage vs anyone they play against.

3.Mavs - New Coach and new defensive mind set. Dirk is playing great and has something to prove and try to get Mavs to the promise land.

4.Pheonix - With last years MVP Steve Nash on the team and Shawn Marion the Suns will be a threat to anyone. They would be higher but Amare wont be playing in the playoffs wich will take away from their threat of winning an NBA title.

5.Lakers - Any time you have arguebly the best player on your league that can at any time snap and light up many points on you. You have a good chance to upset top seeded teams. If the supporting cast plays well this team will go farther then many expect.

CLOSE
6TH - MIAMI HEAT - I didnt put them any higher because they have a weak defensive team. Although they have alot of talent it seems they dont know each of their roles.

This is my opinion, there might be a few mistakes but I did it pretty quick for fun.[IMG]

1. New Jersey - I still think they can come out on top of the East and I really wish they do.

2. Detroit - They do have the best starting 5 in the league and have had no injury problems.

3. Dallas - I think Dallas has everything going for them right now.

4. San Antonio - They have some injury problems and yes, Tony has stepped his game up this year, but Ginibili has not been the same dude from last year and I think they're just not as strong.

5. Memphis - No one is really looking at them as a contender, but I think they have enough to sneak into the Finals.

Kobe couldn't beat the Pistons with Shaq. Besides, Smuch will get beat on by top pgs even more than GP did.

Experience wise your absolutely right, but keep in mind Smush is in his "3rd" year in the League, GP was a vet already losing his step...

1. San Antonio Spurs
2. Miami Heat
3. Detroit Pistons

Nothing else matters, I think these are the only teams that are capable of winning the championship.
