(AP) -- Los Angeles Lakers forward Luke Walton, accidentally elbowed in the left side of the face by New Orleans' Marc Jackson, isn't expected to miss any playing time. Lakers spokesman John Black said Walton was expected to practice Friday with the Lakers, who open their first-round, best-of-seven playoff series in Phoenix on Sunday. "He got popped in the face hard," Black said Thursday -- a day after Walton was whacked in the first quarter of a 115-95 season-ending victory over New Orleans. "He'll probably be sore for a few more days. But he'll be fine." Walton was hospitalized during the game for a CT scan. The results were negative. Meanwhile, Black said that rookies Von Wafer and Devin Green were the two players left off the Lakers' playoff roster, submitted Thursday to the NBA. The 13 players on the roster are Kobe Bryant, Smush Parker, Kwame Brown, Lamar Odom, Walton, Sasha Vujacic, Aaron McKie, Jim Jackson, Brian Cook, Chris Mihm, Devean George, Ronny Turiaf and Andrew Bynum.</div> Source
RONNY T!!! I sure hope Ronny gets some run in the playoffs, I think he's the best backup bigman they have with Mihm not being healthy and from what I've seen Cooks inconsistent play.
