Lions are expected to start QB Jeff Garcia against the Browns. Finally the plug has been pulled on Joey.

Garcia is in questionable condition but I still think it is a good move. IMO, they should have Garcia as their starting QB until he retires (he's 35) then start Joey.

uhm no. Joey's been there for 4 years now and hasn't proven to be a solid starter for them. Harrington will likely be cut at the end of the year.

Joey will be cut if the Lions can draft a QB that is clearly better. If they don't, Joey will stay.

uhm no. Joey's been there for 4 seasons now. He's a proven failure in that system. They'll for sure cut him unless he pulls out a miracle this season. If he even gets back in there. Detroit will for sure head in a different direction. There is no need to keep Harrington and is salary as a backup.

I would rather see Garcia come back next week when he is 100%, he said coming into this game he is only about 70%. If he plays this week, he wont be as effective

I feel sorry for Dilfer. He has 3 interceptions. I bet he still have nightmares of what happened last week.

Hey as of now I believe the Lions are the best team in the NFC North. With Garcia I think they might be able to make some noise. Chicago is right on their tale and Minnesota showed signs of life and may get on track. The Packers are a mess right now. Injuries mainly.

A ROAD WIN!!!!! Only the forth in the last 35 games for the Lions! It was like night and day watching this game .... finally a PRO QB! Look for Garcia to better his numbers at home next week when the Lions take over soul position of first place when they give the Bears a little "Payback" at Ford Field. The Lions are now the clear favorite in the NFC North.

Lions are the best right now, but i think the if the vikings ever wake up they have a shot at winning to divison. They have so much miss used talent, and that is why tice should be fired

Harrington is finally playing the position he should have been playing his whole career...a backup QB. That's what he's best suited for. Garcia is not the long-term answer, but at least he can play.

I think Detroit should hold on to Harrington as a backup and nothing more, but they need to draft a good QB to take over the franchise.

Im not saying they aren't favourites but they are not clear favourites, We will see next week as Chicago and Lions do battle. This could ultimately mean the winning and losing of the NFC North.
