Ok, Al hurt his ankle at the end of training camp, slowly got better during the season, then finally started aplying with some consistancy, and strung together some good games...then went down again with another ankle sprain..which effectively ended his season more or less..
what is everyones opinion of Al, as in, how will he come out next season?
I see people bashing him on boards everywhere, like judging him saying that he is not motivated, soft, etc...
To be honest, I think he will be the type of player that everyone was expecting him 2 b this season, next season...Al + Danny Ainge seems very commited to putting him into the shape of his life. I think he will silence a lot of critics during this off-season/next season.
We put such high expectations on his last season, but we forget that he just finished his second year straight from highschool, look at Perk, he didnt start contributing until this season (his 3rd).
People that think Al is a bust, and that we should get rid of him should kick back, and just relax a little...he is still very young..
I dont think Ainge should really do a lot this off season, besides getting a vet PG, i think the talent that he has collected will go a long way sooner rather than later...
    Peace...

Its too early to call Al a bust but he did dissapoint this season. however If he can't play a whole season without getting injured then he will be a bust absolutely. We did set our expectations high but thats what he needs to become if its worth keeping him as the so-called "future of our franchise"
