<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">With Sunday's game looming, a lot of Net--and Pacer--players understand they have something to prove. Richard Jefferson has to prove to others that he is as good a basketball player as he thinks he is; Vince Carter that he can carry a team through the playoffs; Jason Collins that he can defend Jermaine O'Neal; Nenad Krstic that he can handle the mounting pressure...and Anthony Johnson that the Nets made a mistake in letting him go. How about Jason Kidd? He has nothing to prove.</div>

If the Nets take the series, it will determine alot about this team and what their top players role plays can really sum up to in the postseason. These are all chances for those players to show they`re not backing down, they`re there to play.
