Or if he is just more aggressive... but I have a feeling he'll be a solid second or third option in the future... but never a great first-option.
I think Dre’s unselfishness is what is holding him back from being a prolific scorer in this league. He has all the tools to be a great offensive player. He is long, has a pretty nice three point shot from the corner, is an athletic freak, and can put the ball of the floor. The thing is he passes up to many opportunities and defers when he would be better off taking the shot himself. I truly believe Dre would have averaged somewhere between 17-20 points this season had either Webber or AI not been on the team.
his handles arent very good dont you think? so that limits his ability to create for himself but really its ai stopping his development, he'd be such a stud on any other team, especially on the bulls

Plus, the Sixers would easily be the worst team in the league if Andre was our first optiton this year. I'm not trying to disagree with you all, but you all make it sound like Andre could have blown it up this year. It's not like I don't want him to be a star in the future, but I think everybody's expectations for him are way too high. Look at KG, JO, KB, it took them a few years to develop. You can say that they all came out of high school, but the diff. is that Andre's offensive skills are so limited that it takes him a lott more time to develop(+ college). It's like his offensive skills are the same when KG or JO came out of high school. The truth is that he's not close to being a star. Unless you want the Sixers to go 20-62 for the next 1 or 2 years, Andre isn't gonna averge 20 points.
I actually like AI2 but these stats show nothing at all. He's playing 5 more minutes and he's up by 3/0.2/0.1. They show nothing at all.

That's not exactly what I would consider 'progression'. In the extra five minutes he's getting he's not improving his stats much.
