    I noticed local announcers can create some of the wackiest nicknames[​IMG] Even though the players sometimes request their nicknames, announcers should be BANNED from giving players nicknames.Ex:

    Chris Paul: CP3[​IMG]

    Steve Francis: Stevie "Wonder"[​IMG]

    Yao Ming: Yaozer [​IMG]

    Chris Bosh: CB4 [​IMG] [​IMG]

    Skiles called Nocioni "Noach". WTF?
    I hate "Sam I Am" - mostly cause I don't understand it...
    Big Nasty and Big Fundamental are pretty good.
    Also "Birdman" is a classic... or at least it was when he was in the league.
    Dirk Diggler is dumb - what does Dirk have to do with the Boogie Nights movie? Dirk is probably a really common name in Germany.

    Wackiest names I've heard was Vitaly Potapenko - Ukraine Train... I like vinsanity, sheed, rip and flash as said earlier I also like Sugar Ray-Ray Allen just because he's my fav...

    I hate Marbury but the nickname Starbury sounds nice to me.
