<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">George Washington junior guards Carl Elliott and Danilo Pinnock filed paperwork yesterday entering their names into the NBA draft, Coach Karl Hobbs said. Neither player will hire an agent, and Hobbs said he expects both to pull out of the draft before the June 18 deadline and return to Foggy Bottom for their senior seasons.

"I think it's great that they're testing the waters," Hobbs said. "The NCAA has allowed these kids the chance to see what their chances are, and they're exercising that choice. That's their dream -- they want to play in the NBA."

Elliott and Pinnock are expected to lead the Colonials next season after the departure of senior starters Mike Hall , Pops Mensah-Bonsu and Omar Williams . That quintet guided the Colonials to the best regular season record in the nation and the most wins in team history this year. Elliott led the Colonials in minutes, three-point shooting and assists while averaging 11.5 points per game; Pinnock led the team in steals and scoring (14.5 ppg), and was named first-team all-Atlantic 10.

"I'm going to test the waters and see what happens," Pinnock said. "I have every intention to be back at GW next fall. If somebody tells me I have a chance to get drafted, then we'll sit down and see."</div>
