Who do yall think is to blame for this horrendous start to the season?

I personally choose Ted Thompson mainly.

I'd like to say the players as well as the front office. Against Minnesota Green Bay seemed way to overconfident heading into the 2nd half. TT is yet to find a WR in free agency. Sherman is way to conservative and of course injuries......

The team just isn't playing well this year. It sucks to because Favre is having a career year so far believe it or not.

i blame TT because he let some star players go, Jim Bates is coaching his ass off so i would say he was the best thing about the 1-5 start

Eh...where are "Injuries" and "Bad Luck" on your list of choices?

Thompson, Sherman and Bates are not to blame... It's possible to do all you can and still lose. That's the NFL for you.

The record sucks, but the team as a whole is far from being a "lost cause."

Oh I definatley know Bates is doing a hell of Job a D-coordinator, I just put him there as an option. I actually don't know why even put him on this poll.

I disagree. The Salary Cap was the reason the Packers lost their star players. Thompson had no choice in the matter and, I think, has done a pretty good job getting by without them. The Packers have a lot of young talent...

The funny thing about Brett Favre is that when one of his reletives dies, he starts playing excellently for the week. If I were to go psycho serial and kill his whole family, he would play better than Joe Montana and John Elway combined. [IMG]

Thats not even close to being funny. I know you were joking but there are just some things that shouldn't be joked about.

Anyways Favre has played well the last 3 games. In fact he's been a madman. This past lost was credited to the the coaches and players getting overconfident. Favre played a hell of a game.

I'm with Porky. There's nothing REMOTELY funny about that.

Favre is playing out of his mind right now. I know putting up big numbers on Minnesota hasn't been the biggest challenge this year, but to complete your first 13 passes of the game is something else.

For his sake, I hope the Pack at least make it close (but not win the division). [IMG]

I think without Green for the year, they wont go anywhere.

As long as we have Favre I think we may be able to play spoilers to someone down the road. Maybe Philly or Seattle. But I agree I don't think we have a chance for the playoffs. 2-4 is workable in the NFC North but 1-5 is a pretty deep hole.

You are still only two games out of first place, and do you really see Detroit or Chicago keeping up at .500? I don't. Maybe I'm wrong, but I cannot see these teams winning week in and week out.

The Vikings have a chance only because they play several games at home still. I do not see us winning on the road at all this year, but home games should be good.

Driver is going to be a force on the team, and Favre knows that it is basically on his shoulders to get this team in order. I frankly can see them playing the spoiler to a lot more teams.

At the end of the year I see the Packers in 2nd place in the NFC North. Whose in 1st? I hope the Vikings, but who knows.

The packers have no shot at the playoffs. they are going into a extremly hard stretch of 3 games that will probly leave them at 1-8, then they play some easier teams

A team can only take so much when it comes to injuries. Then again last year the Panthers put on a serge so maybe theres hope. I do think Cincy is beatable at home. I also think we'll beat Pitt at home in Lambeau. From there I don't know. We'll see how we adapt to having to play a lot of backups where are stars were. As long as Favre is there I won't rule them a 100% out. I will say though it's a slim chance that Green Bay makes the playoffs. I'd like to spoil the Bears and Lions this season though. hahaha

The reason the panthers came back last year is that our defense started to dominate the game, and get lots of takeaways. I dont think your defense is good enough to help favre go on a 6 game winning streak

You forgot an old team that eventually was going to breakdown as an option
