How about a Foyle package, AlleyOop? LOL.

Speaking of Foyle. Read this fellas. Hilarious what Foyle has to say near the end.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">"I spent my first five years trying to convince fans that we are a good team, and they looked at me like I was on drugs," says center Adonal Foyle, the longest-tenured Warrior. "Now they come up to me and tell me how good we're going to be."</div>
    Foyle... too funny.

Well I hear they have some good stuff in the Caribbean...

Yeah, I just didn't want to sound like a dreamer, but why not? Let's do:

Yeah, and if the GM doesn't want to get rid of <anyone> for that cheap, we can toss in Dunleavy to "sweeten the pot."

    1) Dunleavy/Fisher/Foyle/Murphy

    for

    Dale Davis

    --------------------------------------------------

    2) Dunleavy/Fisher/Foyle/Murphy

    for

Theres no way any GM can resist giving up <anyone> if we include Dunleavy in that trade. They're practically getting a starting 4!

Yeah, I mean when you're fielding four NBA players, guys who are currently in the National Basketball Association, players who are gonna come in and immediately take up roster space, guys with proven, top-tier contracts, I mean these are the types of players with the types of long-term, full ride contracts that most teams usually build around, as a GM you've gotta consider that deal.

You're practically getting a full salary-cap worth of $$ contracts and you need only give up, say, Etan Thomas or Bob Sura. That's like a red light super-deal at Target or whatever. I'll throw in Zarko and Taft too -- let's make it a coup.

    Now that's a good deal.

You're getting 4 proven, over-paid contracts to fill up roster space and eat up minutes from other players, you're getting four guys -- now these are guys who are NBA players who can come in and make a difference right now -- you're getting four guys who have already been given big-ride contracts, that's gotta tell you that they have proven themselves (or else why the hell would they be getting paid 10 times what Magic Johnson ever made!?!?!) I mean C'mon! these guys have big-time NBA contracts, they can come in and make a difference on your roster, fill up space, take up physical space on your bench, these are the types of guys you need to have if you're going to fill out your roster -- and then now we throw in a marquee-type coach who can just flat-out get it done (I mean this guy has more college wins than, heck, there were total college games ever played!) this is the type of big-time impact coach who can come in, lay down the law, get a-hold of your veteran players and let them know where they stand -- this is the of type coach who will do the things necessary in order to put your team in a position where they can go ahead and be in a place where they are able to give themselves a chance to go ahaead and win some ball games in the National Basketball Association --

    You get it all:

    Murphy/Foyle/Fisher/Dunleavy/Zarko/Taft/Cheaney/Montgomery

    for

The telling part about the Warriors is that, despite the humor, these are all valid arguements you bring to the table Custodian.

arseclown.... <goes off and adds that one to repotoire>

Hey guys, I'm all for the "grass is greener on the other side" because I'm pretty sure it is. Our side is brown with decay or its mostly straw.

We just need some good vets and hopefully one of the young guys is a franchise player... Also, I pray our shooting, inside play and defense gets a lot better. If we can shoot from the line the way we did when we had Jamison/Boykins/Arenas that'll be a relief... If we could play some man-to-man coverage defense then we don't have to play so much darn zone which prevents us from getting defensive rebounds (and we avoid other problems in not being able to control the tempo)... If we get some inside play going then we won't complain about our low shot %'s... but then again, our inside play is all dependent on the 5 guys we have and how well our shooters can make the most of opportunities when defenses collapse inside off dribble penetration or deep position in the post. If our guys can't shoot, we're not a basketball team. And if our guys can't catch passes, well... they should be shot out of cannon from full court.

With Memphis losing Bobby Jackson and Chucky Atkins to free agency, adn Damon Stoudamire working his way back from an injury Memphis would be the perfect place to send Fisher. Second rounder. Anything. A HOt Dog ....that has been kicked on the floor for a day. Come on Jerry pick up the phone, you know you want Fisher back.

Remember.. Twardzick is Orlando's GM. I think anyone can steal talent from him. Fisher is his BJ Armstrong. Let's do it!

Lo BJ Armstrong!! that guy cracks me up when he's on epsn commentating on the games. He pauses so much when he's reading off the prompter. It's like he's struggling to do it but anyways..i'll take him over fisher anyday. I'd even take that Mugsy over him.

Yeah BJ Armstrong seems like a retard trying to read off the teleprompter. I can't tell if hes just nervous or if hes got a stutter or if he has trouble seeing it or what but its hilarious to watch him try to analyze. I think hes got braces too or something because it sounds like hes got something in his mouth when he talks.

In other news, Magloire is dissapointed with his role in Milwaukee and hes the best player I believe we can get so its good news for us. Heres the story:

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">JS Online - Jamaal Magloire completed his first season with the Milwaukee Bucks feeling a sense of disappoint regarding his role with the club.

"My biggest disappointment is I wish I was out there contributing and helping this team win," said Magloire, who had eight points and four rebounds in 23 minutes on Wednesday. "Coach is going to make the decisions, and I'm just going to do what he asks of me.

"I have a year left on the deal, and I'm going to re-evaluate the situation. I'm going to have a good chance to speak with the general manager and the coach and go from there."

As is always the case with Magloire, speculation of him going to Toronto will linger, the hometown he still resides in during the off-season. </div>
    http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/403...ted_about_role/

I'd like to get him even if we overtrade for him. Murphy, Pietrus, and our first round pick seems like alot but those are all expendable assets now that we have Ike and Monta waiting for larger roles. I'm not sure that Milwaukee would want Murphy though which may cause problems but like I said if we give more talent then we get back I think we'd still be better off. It could help that Stotts is the coach in MIL too, maybe he can put in a good word for one of our garbage players.

I don't think Coach Stotts would "fall on the hand grenade" after witnessing firsthand how bad Murphy, Pietrus or Fisher, Foyle, Dunleavy can be. Big guy that can't catch, slow guy that can't shoot. Pietrus has no brains for the game due to lack of fundamentals. Then there's Murphy and Fisher who are the most consistent role players on the entire roster, but a lot is left to be desired... especially low shot %'s and questionable man-to-man D. Actually, comparing Fish to Murphy on D is ridiculous. Fish wouldn't have won all those championships with the Lakers if he was that poor on defense because Champ teams have a solid defensive starting five (even with Shaq who plays little D in his later years due to foul trouble worries). In fact, Dfish holds his own on most nights without letting another Warrior bail him out like Murphy expects from Foyle or some other guy when getting beat. Plus, Murphy never was and never will be a good help defender. He just doesn't apply the same effort he does when going after statsheet filling rebounds. Also, Foyle is not a good defender outside of shotblocking or using his arms. He's got no craftiness, he lets guys get deep position on him or he's got little defensive footwork in the post like D-squared or Uncle Cliffy had when they were with us. Those two guys can bang somebody around or force the stronger guy into a travel or pick the ball away without picking up a foul.

Magloire... he'd be a rental. I see a place for Murphy on this roster (like on the bench), but I'd hate to trade him for a rental center rather than a big guy that could stay for at least three years and wants to be here. I've got some faith in Pietrus, but I'm hoping we don't give up him and Murphy both for Magloire who says he wants to go to Toronto.
