Sorry, this dunk deserves a thread in it's own.

Hell of a way to win our FIRST game against Steve Nash's Suns since the big fella has left.

LOL, During the Press Conference, they asked Nash about Kobe dunking on him, he goes:

"It was great to get dunked on, it was awesome, I loved it" while smiling.

Lol, as much as Nash is the enemy right now, he really is not a sore loser after hearing him on the Press Conference, I thought he was a prick, but he does give credit where credit is due, so I respect him and what he does.

HOWEVER, that does not take away the fact that Kobe POSTURIZED him, lol.

I woke up my mom from yelling too loud after Nash got Kobe's nuts in the face. Kobe is utterly amazing...we're so lucky.

It was a sick dunk, one of the best that I've seen in a long time, but it's not like Nash tried to block it. He just did what he was supposed to do, draw a charge on Kobe and he succeeded except they didn't call it.

Obviously a charge, too bad they didn't call it. Kwame Brown had a loose ball foul too, and they didnt' call it.

it was definitely a charge.. the dunk wouldn't have mattered much if the call was made..

If you watch the official in the replay he's clearly not even looking at the defender, he's watching Kobe dunk the ball. It could have been called either way, I think Kobe did a nice job of angling his body to avoid completely steam rolling Nash on the dunk.

Lol, it was a spur of the moment thing. I like Nash, he's a good player and fun to watch. Obviously I'm going to root for the Lakers, it was just a sick dunk.

LOL @ at the overhype of one single play over the course of the entire NBA playoffs. This definitely will have a bearing on the eventual outcome and crowning of the NBA champion.

I guess I should add a disclaimer here: Apparently, I'm out of touch with the NBA playoffs and NBA in general where individual plays are much more important than wins. Everyone should be focusing on the magnitude of the Lakers' win today, it's a helluva step forward for them, and gives them a shot to steal this series. Very good win.

If you saw the game, and how the play happened with Kwame fumbling the ball as usual, then Lamar getting on the floor to get to the ball, then passing it to Kobe on the floor, then Kobe posturizing Nash, you would overhype it too.

    That play was VERY important.

If they call the CHarge(which I don't think it was now looking at it, I really don't believe Nash had got there in time), then no basket, and Phoenix gets the ball, Down by 3 I believe.

This game was huge, not only do we go back home for 2 games with the series 1-1, but we're not down 0-2 in desperation for 2 wins.

Look at Nash's feet, they are set in plenty of time before Kobe crashes into him. They are completely still, which constitutes a charge. That play sucked any momentum that the Suns had. If there was a charge, the momentum would have swung in the Suns favor. I'm not saying that the play cost the Suns the game, because it sure as hell didn't. The Suns didn't play good at all(props to the Lakers for getting them out of their rhythm)

Uhm...if you saw the game, Kwame didn't fumble anything...It was a long rebound off a Walton missed shot...

if you were going to call kobes dunk a charge then you better go back in time and correct ALLLL the other offensive fouls that the refs missed.

Argh.....my bad, you're right, got confused.

That play I referred to was that critical layup Smush made when it was 92-89, and I combined the two plays by accident, lol. whoops
