I am more concerned with all the people that insisted Kobe Bryant did not make his teammates better. Right now, with a weaker cast of players, Kobe Bryant is out-nashing Nash.

Everybody brush your shoulders off baby yeah. Lamar and Kwame beat up on guys downlow and the bench came alive. Kobe was Kobe in the fourth quarter, and Smush and Walton huge games from them. We controlled Nash well sort of. Hi fives all around

This series has been the most entertaining so far in the playoffs. The Bulls v. Heat is close second.

The Lakers coaching staff came up with the perfect game plan to take advantage of the Suns weaknesses and the players are executing the plan perfectly.

Kobe Bryant is back to his intiator role, (the role he played alongside Shaq) and has been the floor general this young group needs to win in the playoffs.

Down the stretch you could see some hesistation from Odom, Smush, and Luke. They were a little gun shy and passed up some open looks in rhythm. Kobe Bryant recognized it and took control of the offense to settle the players down. I think a key play from Kobe came on defense when he turned the ball over, but sprinted back and stole the ball like a cornerback intercepts a quarterback. If he doesn't make that play, the Suns momentum continues and the Lakers nerves would have tightened up even more.

Three Lakers finished with double-doubles in this game, outstanding balance!

LA is the better team right now period

it's kind of weird to think the lakers didn't play like this all year - what the hell have they been doing??

Nash has stepped up and played as good as possible but this series has exposed the hidden fact that Lakers are actually a better team in spite of the seeds. Right now Phoenix has NO post players to speak of AND NO PLAYMAKERS besides Steve Nash. L.A. has two decent post players in Kwame and Lamar and besides Kobe they have Luke and Smush who you could consider playmakers. THat's 4 major advantages right there. Phoenix has more shooters than L.A., that's it.

So L.A. has a much more versatile offense, Phoenix has a 1-dimensional offense, if they can't run, they're dead.

So I really don't think Phoenix aren't playing up to their potential. I think the Lakers are finally playing to their potential and they appear to be a better team. Really this series is the Lakers series to lose and they should win this one.

well, its because now they are finally familiar with the gameplan and with what phil wants them to do. in the beginnning of the season, they were confused because the triangle is difficult to learn

The Lakers coaching staff has been the difference. They have sold their gameplan to everyone and the players have the confidence in their abilities to beat Phoenix while executing the plan.

Phoenix doesn't have the personnel to make any adjustments in the series. If Amare and Kurt Thomas were healthy, I think the Suns would sweep us in convincing fashion.

Without any inside presence and not being able to control tempo the Suns become a 1 dimensional team.

Game 4 is must win, because if we lose, momentum goes to Phoenix. If we win, we have a 3-1 lead, and the series is virtually over. The Lakers, however, never can THINK that it is virtually over, and play the team game that they are playing. ROUND 2: CLIPPERS VS. LAKERS!!!!!

Your absolutely right, I was nervous after game 2 the Lakers would have a melt down, once again I hope that Kobe and the entire coaching staff are getting it into these guy's heads how important tomorrow's game is. If they don't win tomorrow they will either have to win a game 5 or a game 7 on the road to clinch the series, something that is VERY daunting for a young team. If they win tomorrow they can either win it with no pressure on them in Game 5 in PHX, or at home in game 6.

If the Lakers play the way they are playing now next season, they will win 60 games.

LOL! I hope Bryan Cook brushed.

Yes. I think game 4 is a must win for LA as well (well not a must win... but it certainly would be HUGE). Very game we play Phoenix is a game that Phoenix could get hot from beyond the arc and score more than 110 ppg. I still expect Phoenix to have a really good shooting night and maybe even plow LA out... I just hope its not the next game.
