Like so many fellow underclassmen, Lowry will not hire an agent and retains the option to return to Villanova for his junior season of 2006-07. Because of his decision to declare though, he will have just one more season of college eligibility. "This has been a very difficult process for Kyle and I'm proud of the way he has handled it," stated Villanova head coach Jay Wright. "Kyle is fulfilling all of his academic responsibilities, working hard with the team, and is very cognizant of the NCAA eligibility issues as they pertain to this process."</div> http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/402...owry_going_pro/ Wow, another guy who I thought would/should stay in school is declaring.

Kyle Lowry was really good for Villanova this past season. He reminds me a little of a young Allen Iverson with the way he drives to the basket. The glaring weakness in his game is clearly his jump shot. It looked as though last season that a lot of teams often dared him to shoot a wide-open jump shot. If he can improve on it and get better all round he could be a great player in the NBA one day. NBAdraft.net had him going in the top 10 in next year’s draft, but now that he has declared where do you guys think he will land. I hope either Miami or Chicago gets him. Probably more so Miami since Chicago is pretty much set at the point guard position with Hinrich, Duhon, and Gordon playing a little point.
^^Don't know if I'd call him a young Iverson although I can see how you can make the comparison. I think he should stay because he is clearly to young and still way to raw for the NBA.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting SP23:</div><div class="quote_post">What position did he exactly play at Vill? Didn't get to watch games. PG or SG?</div> He played PG but on the defensive end he guarded all positions 1-4. Our team was so small because Sumpter was out all year that he had to guard players that have 7-9 more inches on him.
i think the guy should go back. i think hes clearly not ready for nba competition yet. he should go back another year and work on his playmaking skills and his jump shot. but who knows, this years draft is so weak he may make it into the first round
Does anyone know if he'll stay in the draft or will be go back? I have the feeling he'll stay in the draft. I know he doesn't got an agent too, just wanted an opinion.
