A Technical smacked on Haslem -(I think I spelled it right). Just prior to this Antoine Walker was hit with a technical. Moments before this a very unclassy James Posey gets ejected for a very dirty play. I feel Miami is a very deep solid good team, I just don't think they could even come close to beating the Detroit Pistons. As in my mind, I've already penciled them in this year as the very likely Champs. But the Heat didn't even seem to want to win that game yesterday versuse our newly improved Chicago Bulls. I mean talk about a team that paper towels should have been handed out to for the constant whinning. Although I do feel Shaq is a class act; as I do Dwyane Wade. Any team the Diesel goes to is an automatic contender Shaq is that good. And I feel that he showed more class than any of his team mates. Very difficult game for the big fellow. 5 Personal Fouls with 7:25 to go. But he didn't complaine. And the #1 reason we won. Kirk Hinrich, although collectively it was good team effort, with the final Box Score, look no further than Kirk. I like Kirk's agressive competitive nature. Small, yet reminds me of Chris Childs of the past N.Y.C. Knicks. Kirk won't back down. Just ask Rip Hamilton or James Posey. I think his game stats were 25-27 points, and 12 assists. He was the Bulls highest scorer, and provided atleast 24 other points with help unto his team mates. Well the series is 1-2 right now, and we've won our first battle in the war. No matter who wins, I can almost guarantee, this will be a 6 games series. If not then a 7 game series, although as a Die Hard Bulls fan I'll admit I expect, sadly, that the Miami Heat will prevaile. But with 2 BACK-BACK playoffs seasons, and especially doing damage in this years series, I look forward not only to the rest of this series, but Chicago Bulls upcomming years in the NBA altogether. I feel we are back to a position Big Free Agents will like to come to the Bulls again. And it's also interesting to note that the 6 struggleing years, the Eastern conference was a push over. Many none playoff teams out West could have made the Post Season in the Eastern Conference. Yet the Bulls still missed the playoffs every year. Now the East is tough again; and the Bulls have stepped up now to where their still makeing the playoffs. My Father and myself are excited about the Chicago Bulls future. And we still, are definately going to pose problems for the Miami Heat. GO BULLS!!!!!
Those tech's were stupid I don;t think Udonis should've gotten one or Walker, but Posey definately deserved his. Just pray for your Bulls that this doesn't escalate because the Heat could probably seriously injure a lot of your players(no offense but have you seen Miami's guys compared to Chicago). In all seriousness, Wade and Shaq are very calssy guys and Udonis is a very good guy but he gets frustrated because he feels he gets no respect because his name is Udonis Haslem and not Dwyane Wade, which is unerstandable because Udonis takes such a huge pounding. I can see Udonis getting into it with Nocioni there is history there to. Udonis won round 1 to lol he sent Nocioni into the third row last year.

I don't think it's very kind to say "pray it doesn't escalate, because the Heat could injure the Bulls players". First you make that statement then after talking about how they could hurt the Bulls you say there class acts. In all honesty playmaker15, I've seen past posts you have put up, and you seem pretty nice. And if you read over all of my posts you'll see I am. But not being sarcastic but rather just in all honesty that condridicts itself. The Heat are very classy players yet they will "SEROUSLY INJURE" the Bulls. Any one that would seriously injure some one just over a emotional playoff game is not classy. How ever I will agree with you that Shaq is a class act, and I don't feel he's the type to want to seriously injure some one. Not to say he couldn't Shaq's both the biggest and strongest man to ever play in the NBA. But like you said he's a classy guy. No offense to you playmaker15, but I disagree on your saying Udonis has class. I personally don't beleive he does. Most players don't get the calls Dwyane Wade or the likes of Kobe do. You have to keep in mind very few NBA players are as popular as Movie Stars. But the few that are, like Dwyane or Kobe will get special treatment from the officials. I'de say things did pretty much escalate last night, and really no one from the Bulls or Heat got injured. That's not what sports is about; both James -(For A Very Dirty Play) ; and Kirk -(For Over Reacting), didn't show class. Is all I said playmaker15 was I can really appreciate such aggression out of such a small player atleast small physically. And I'm just saying, takeing into account that the Heat are the #2 seed, and the Bulls are the #7 seed, I feel it will be a good series. Considering where they both rank at and 4/7 games will be played at Miami as appose to Chicago. And although I wouldn't bet on it, I could really see this series going to game 7, with the dignified Miami Heat most probably prevailing. But Shaq won't injure any Bulls, it's not in the man's nature; although you are certainly right that if he wanted to he could. So it's all good playmaker15, and even though I think the Detroit Pistons could beat your Heat; I'll guarantee you one thing if those 2 happen to be this years Eastern Conference Finals, I will definately roote for the Heat. Guys like Shaq and Alonzo, now men like that are what the NBA should be all about. But beleive me, Shaq knows he could beat up every player in the NBA, and besides him being classy that alone is another reason he won't hurt any one. The man has no intimidation of any one to the point he would feel he had anything to prove. Take care my man playmaker15. GO BULLS!!!!!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting playmaker15:</div><div class="quote_post"> Just pray for your Bulls that this doesn't escalate because the Heat could probably seriously injure a lot of your players(no offense but have you seen Miami's guys compared to Chicago).</div> Escalate? What have the Bulls done to instigate? I do pray that Miami's frustration escalates because what causes them to get upset...getting blown out by 19 by the 7th seeded Chicago Bulls, losing a playoff game, Shaq going 0-6 at the line and having his worst playoff game of his career, losing their inside presence due to fouls, realizing that with Shaq the Heat can beat the Bulls by less than 10 and without him they lose by 19. Yes I do pray that 'this' escalates, I'm assuming that 'this' as you put it is Miami's frustration of coure. What I hope doesn't escalate are the plays where the Heat bulldoze over our point guard (my fav. player on the team by the way) Kirk Hinrich. So don't come onto the Bulls forum and tell their fans that we had better pray for our poor defenseless team and expect us not to take offense just because you ask us not too.
Ya my comments were pretty out of line, I am not hoping in any way the tension escalates. All I was saying is that the Heat have a VERY short fuse as we've seen so far. Trust me I've personally met Udonis Haslem he is a very nice man, he plays a physical brand of basketball and hasn't tried to intentionally hurt any of your players.

Cocky, like that there should be towels handed out for the whinning Heat players. So I apologize as well playmaker15. But I do beleive the Bulls can really make this an interesting series. I live in Sacramento so the Kings are my first fav. , but I have family in Chicago, and my dad grew up there, and stuck beside the team threw the struggleing Reggie Theus era - All the way to Michal Jordan and Scottie Pippen's glory days. And we are going to return to those days. And Kirk Hinrich is my favorite current Bull also, he has proven time and time over he'll back down to no one. And he's a spectacular player. Really one of the more under-rated players in today's NBA.
The title of this thread kind of makes me a little mad. I mean your a fan of the team who just won a game, and is down in the series 2-1 yet you say “Although series probably lost” no offense, but that isn’t very optimistic. Come on now I still say we can win this series. What is it they say a series doesn’t start until the home team loses a game. So far each team has done what they are suppose to, protect their home court. I still think we are very much in this series, and we will probably win Sunday. If we can some how then pull off a win in Miami we are up 3-2 going back to the United Center. We could be up 2-1 or even 3-0 right now if we had not malfunctioned at the end of games one and two. We have been competitive in every game we lost, and won convincingly in our win. There is no way I would consider this series “probably lost” at this point. The moment is in our favor all the pressure right now is on Miami to stop us from tying up this series. Although, Miami is a tough team they have not dominated us in any of the games thus far to say they will beat us. Anyway, I’m just one of those it’s never over until it’s over guys when it comes to the playoffs.

I’m just making it clear this is not a scrub team going against another team where the Heat are just playing around with the Bulls, like the thread title (not the post itself) made it sound like. P.S: The Rockets won the NBA title a few years back without having home court in any of their series. Just because a team is an underdog, and not favored in Nevada does not mean there chances of winning are any less. It's all about heart the seventh seed will always be the underdog when going against the number two, but hey in my eyes I don't see them playing like they think their underdogs even though everyone around them sees them that way. They know the odds, but you never know what's going to happen. They are in good position right now so right now I would not say they will probably lose this series. Sorry to say Miami...But your going to have to find a way to shut down Chicago, and there's been one player that impressed me the most in the series...Nocioni. He's been a huge threat besides Hinrich and Gordon.
It's funny how one year of playoff experience can make a team do what the bulls are doing this year. Have you guys noticed how the Bulls play worse whenever Duhon is running the offense?
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Jurassic:</div><div class="quote_post"> Have you guys noticed how the Bulls play worse whenever Duhon is running the offense?</div> Yeah I have sort of noticed that. However, I think that is more of a tribute to how well Hinrich has played this series not necessarily a flaw in Duhon. To his credit he has been our best defender, when it comes to stopping/containing Wade. I think everyone is playing there role well right now. The trio of Hinrich, Gordon, and Nocioni will be nasty next season.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Jurassic:</div><div class="quote_post">Have you guys noticed how the Bulls play worse whenever Duhon is running the offense?</div> I'VE NOTICED IT!! I love Duhon off the bench but he gets way too many minutes and takes way too many shots. For some reason I hate him at the point because he seems so slow and easy to read when he's setting the Bulls up. I also believe that he will be involved in a trade over the summer because he has gotten some attention this season.
Lets not forget that Duhon is battling back pains and is playing for the benefit of the team. If we didnt need him he wouldnt be playing. Without him hinrich gets no rest. back problems have a negative effect on a players performance.
