Congrats to Mike Miller he was a nice spark off the bench all season for the Grizzlies. I was actually surprised to see Speedy Claxton finishing 2nd, I figured Stackhouse would be 2nd on most writer's ballots.
Now maybe it's just my Dallas' instincts kicking in, but i really thought Jerry Stackhouse deserved this more then Mike Miller. I mean Miller, started most like all of his games last year and still got the same stats this year coming off the bench, while this is the second year Jerry has come of the bench for most games and still put up identical numbers. Stackhouse is one of the key players that helps Dallas to their key victories, while memphis could easily do w/o Miller. All he does is shoot threes, while Stackhouse can shoot the threes AND s one of the best pentrators in the league!
I think Stackhouse would have won it if he played the entire season, he only suited up for 55 games. Mike Miller played in 74 games for the Grizzlies.

Miller deserved it this year, hands down.
I'm a Dallas fan and Mike Miller still had my vote. Personally, I wouldn't even give Stack the 6th man of the Dallas Mavericks award. Dampier coming off the bench benefits our team much more than Stack. Maybe if his (Stack's) percentages were higher I'd rate him better, but he comes off the bench as an offensive specialist - he should shoot better than 40% from the field and 27% from 3.
