Well he has been rehabing from his sprained right ankle that he suffered against the sonics, and he played a game in the regular season, but recently he reaggravated it in practice so they are nursing him back.

Chris went out with a severe ankle injury against the Sonics.

It's a good thing that Lakers are not in a state of emergency to get him back.

His injury was kind of a blessing in disguise I guess.

I think Mihm is able to play now, but the Lakers don't want to take any chances with him reinjuring the ankle. The only thing to make your ankle improve is rest, and if the Lakers advance they'll need him against the Clippers or Nuggets. The Suns don't have any big men and the Lakers are leading the series, they can afford to give him the extra time to fully heal.

To be honest with you, watching the Suns series, I'm happy with the Lakers style of play, but they lack one thing: a shotblocker. I think we should trade Chris Mihm and maybe Devean George and get a young shotblocker.

I think Kwame is doing way better than him anyways.

We should've tried to make a run at Darko when we had the chance, Imagine him in a Lakers uniform. He's doing well in orlando, but back to realistic options. We could draft Saer Sane from Senegal, he's the international prospect this year that popped out of nowhere, he's only 19 and a 7'0 great defensively but like many others offense flow isnt there.

Back to Mihm, I see him in his warmups but he never gets into the game, is the reason for this that he was included on the Lakers playoff roster?

Chris Mihm is a waste of sperm...I dont know how many years are left in his contract...but the Lakers should put him on the trading block...he has absolutely no upside.

He has 1 year left. A little harsh about Chris Mihm don't you think? He was our second best player in the 1st half of the season. He might not have a lot of upside, but he's servicable and would make a great backup center for the Lakers. He was getting the Lakers 11/7, which puts him right in the middle of the pack for F/C's in the NBA. At $4.5M per season Mihm is earning his paycheck for the Lakers.

Why are people harsh on Mihm? He's a very servicable big man, a great 6th man.

We have one waiting in the wings, his name is Andrew Bynum.
