Well when offseason rolls around, Orlando has the player option role with Grant Hill. Grant Hill has been a huge dissapointment for the Magic for years. It's very probable that he will be traded, but where and what for do you guys think? Or do you think he'll just be released and create tons of cap room for the Magic's adventure through the FA market.

Apparentley Orlando are letting him go, then he is going to re sign with us, Detroit is where he said he wants to finish his career.

I believe he's under contract for 1 more year, about 95% sure on that and the only way that he leaves the Magic this year is via trade or if we cut him and absorb his contract anyway.

Supposedly he said that he can't wait to get back to play with our team next year, because we were a fun young team to watch. He would be a great veteran leader for our young team. I think that he would come off the bench and continue to let Hedo Turkoglu start. Hedo was tearing it up at the end of the year.

I honestly think that Grant Hill will resign with the Magic after NEXT year for a much smaller amount, assuming that he doesn't retire.

Even if Grant Hill wants to return to the young and improving Magic team. The Magic most likely don't even want him back! lol

I believe if he is traded, or a FA, w/e. He'll go to a playoff contending team. Which imo , Dallas or New Jersey would be perfect for him.

New Jersey has absolute no depth, and Jason Kidd has been looking for answers from the GM to get new and good players on this squad to assist. This could easily be Grant Hill.

Dallas is another great team that just hasnt been able to get over the hump, or 2nd round. THe depth this year was imressive, but many injuries effected there number 1 spot chances. Plus most of Dallas' Fowards will be possible FAs next season... Keith Van Horn,Adrian Griffin, Rawle Marshall, and Josh Powell.

I don't think we would turn him down if he wants to sign back for a reasonable salary(close to the minimum and below MLE). He is a great guy to have in a locker room especially for a young team like the Magic. He feels sorry for what he had to put us through(I think), so he might want to pay us back. He definetely doesn't need the money and who knows, we could be a contender for the following year. [IMG]

    Ridiculous, you say?

Hill told the Chicago Tribune on Monday he might entertain a comeback with the Pistons perhaps as early as next season should Orlando cut him loose despite owing him $18 million next season. Any new team could then sign Hill for the league minimum.

Yeah, I have heard this one. Grant Hill is recovering. w/e same story for years. Anyways, the Pistons would probably trade for him and maybe even the T-Wolves. That's about it.

No matter what you say, Grant Hill still have game. He didn't appear in many games this year but when he did play, he avg like 18 a game.....pretty good for a player with like 230943240932 million knee and ankle surgeries...but I think it might be time for him to leave the game and get a seat on ABC or something...like Pip [IMG]

He was on ABC Shootaround before the Cavs-Pistons game, as of now, he said he`s an active player in the NBA. If I was a FA, I`d do my best to sign with a contender.

The hell are you guys talking about?

Grant Hill is likely going to retire because he'll likely need another hernia operation

If he does go play in Detroit, it will just be a testement to how horrible he has been for the city of Orlando. Wasting a hundred million dollars of ours, and ensuring mediocrity.

Grant Hill can still play, he put up 1,317 points in 2004/2005 with an Average of 19.7ppg in only 67 games, and put up 318 points in 2005/2006 with an average of 15.1ppg in only 21 games, which inclued a highest score of 28.

I think he is still fine to play, he just needs to limit his role to a 6th man or somthing, somthing he would fit in perfectly too in Detroit [IMG]

He'll be a solid 6th man for the Magic behind Hedo Turkoglu. That will allow him to not do so much on the court and hopefully save him for the playoff run.

Just his veteran presence in the locker room will help out any team.
