If I have to listen to Bill Walton announce another game, I think I may lose it. He was atrocious working the Miami/Chicago game. He's a micromanging frontrunner, every time a team scored a basket it was momentum this and desire that... late in the game, he said something to the effect that "Miami has such an easy time on offense," after which one of the other commentators called him out. Walton said, "maybe you missed that last play" (a Shaq dunk), to which the other replied, "well, once out of forty..." Anyways, I guess the point of this post is that I don't like Bill Walton very much.
I don't have a problem with him. I kind of like him because he brings a good laugh and "interesting" commentary.

I guess it's all about preference. Some find him hilarious, but I just find him plain annoying to the point that I have to mute the tv.
Bill Walton is AMAZING! I love his commentary lol I laugh every time he opens his mouth. But for his analyst skill, most definately short of CHICK! The Jello's still jigglin'! RIP
I hate him so much....just so annoying, trys to act smart but sounds like a loser...worst NBA announcer IMO
Absolutely can't stand the guy. He exagerrates everything and takes it too far. This guy wouldn't even be anywhere close to the mic if he wasn't Bill Walton. I feel sorry for the real commentators out there that actually take their job seriously.
Mmmm acid. But Bill Walton is a terrible commentator. It's like he somehow managed to spend all those years playing hella good basketball and then promptly forgot everything there is to know about the game when he put on a mic.
Bill Walton is da sh*t. Seriously, the guy is a stereo-typical announcer and makes every game seem like it's a battle for the universe between good and evil. Seriously just let lose and relax. You can't expect to take him seriously.
Well I don't know about you but when I watch a basketball game, I want to listen to some insightful, interesting and informative commentary. Walton is none of the above.
I don't like Walton that much, he's okay though. He just is too much drama for normal plays. He gets me pissed off, but it's funny at the same time. I don't like his voice.
I don't like it when Bill Walton is rude or condescending to the other announcers's calling the game with him. He'll say something incorrect, then they'll correct him, then he gets mad and makes a dig on them. He reminds me of an arrogant prick from my high school. If he's wrong, he'll make sure someone else looks bad with him as well. Whenever he calls a Pistons game, I ALWAYS change it to George Blaha and Bill Lambier. I can't stand to hear Walton tear the Pistons apart like they're a confused high school team.
Walton is such a goof, when Kaman I think scored on Pavel Podkolzine in the last game of the season he said something like "When you can score on Pavel Podkolzine, you know you're a great player in the NBA". He also kept raving about Podkolzine for no reason.
