<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Eclipse:</div><div class="quote_post"> And I enjoyed this little tidbit from Bryant: "I'm not trying to go out there and elbow somebody, that's not the way I play," Bryant said. "If you get elbowed, you still have to keep your cool. I get elbowed all the time." What about the Miller incident? You guys said you lost respect for Nash but how about Kobe being a hypocrite? Gives you something to think about, doesn't it? </div> Yeah, and don't forget this quote from Kobe (re: game 5's physicality, elbows, etc) <div class="quote_poster">Quoting "Kobe Bryant":</div><div class="quote_post">?I don?t get disturbed by it. It excites me. I grew up playing basketball that way.</div>
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting shapecity:</div><div class="quote_post">Most Laker fans agreed when Kobe was suspended for elbowing Mike Miller. The 2 games suspension was the right decision. How does it make Kobe a hypocrite? You did see the open gash across Kobe's skull leading up to the retaliation elbow by Kobe right?</div> How about this part: "I'm not trying to go out there and elbow somebody, that's not the way I play," Bryant said Is that not hypocritical considering that's EXACTLY what he did to Miller? Or perhaps I don't know what the meaning of being a hypocrite is. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting shapecity:</div><div class="quote_post">You did see the open gash across Kobe's skull leading up to the retaliation elbow by Kobe right?</div> How does that change anything? Would Kobe be justified if he made Milller bleed just like he did to Kobe? You guys keep saying that you agreed to the suspension but you keep bringing this up, justifying Kobe's actions, when you condemn Bell for doing the exact same thing.

I don't agree or support either of their tactics. Raja Bell has been head hunting players his entire career, he came into the series boasting about his personal feud with Kobe. Look familiar ? Raja Bell's signature move.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting philip2136:</div><div class="quote_post">was that one a flagrant?</div> Yup. He's had a history of them.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Brian:</div><div class="quote_post">well, in the regular season kobe always scored a lot of points against the suns, like the 51 point game. raja can not guard kobe at all. the only reason why he isnt scoring as much is when we share the ball, we have a better chance of winning</div> anuary 20, 2006 US Airways Center, Phoenix, AZ Kobe 37 points 40 mins 12 -33 FG(36%) 4-12 3pt(33%) 4 turnovers 2 assist Raja Bell 18 points 6-10 FG(60%) 2-4 3pt(50%) 0 turnovers Suns won the game 106 - 93 You have to combind Parker's, Odom's and Mihm's shot attempts to equal Kobe's. In this game, Kobe struggled shooting, and was turnover prone. He didn't get no one involve that game. It was basically one on one when Kobe was on the floor. The team look more better on flowing and rotating the basketball when Kobe was off. Kobe does not sacrafice for his teammates like a Steve Nash. Bell held Kobe to 36% FG, and held him from allowing him to get his teammates invovled. and Suns won the basketball game, I guess Kobe forgot about winning that game huh? Raja Bell won this, Kobe lost. The 51 point game, Lakers lost to a Sun's zone defense. Basically let Kobe dribble dribble dribble dribble dribble and shoot, until the game is over. Its mostly likely an easy win. Atleast Kobe was happy, even though Lakers lost, like you proved, Kobe the stat padder master. This playoffs, Suns are playing more of a man to man game, most of the regular season they've been a zone defense. Either a 1-3-1 Zone, or just play that run and gun style, leaving guys open for long jumpshots, hoping for a long rebound and a fast break which they love. Now as you see NOW in the playoffs, you see theres more man to man, where Raja Bell has been a factor in the series. He could lock down Kobe for 8 minutes, which puts the ball in Lamar Odom's hands, where the Lakers are more sucessful. Because when Odom and Kwane played well, Lakers became a better team. I don't know why you have two teams.
^ thats exactly what i said. this team is better off against the suns when kobe decides to pass the ball and get his teammates involved. raja bell can not single handidly shut down kobe. nobody in the league can, but he can get into kobes head and let kobe try to "take over" the game, which will most likely result in a loss because the key against the suns is getting the ball down low and letting things happen then

gotta be joking me... everyone gotta know tim thomas just camps out there. hope the lakers learned that
