Martz has coached his last game in St Louis or so I keep hearing. Haslett should IMO be shown the door or fall on the sword willingly much like Wanny last year. I wonder if Billick survives. Martz is not a very good head coach but 1 heckuva OC. Granted the Vikes miss Moss but there is a void there w/o Linehan as well. MM would be ideally suited to work w/ all that talent at the skill positions up in Minnesota.
Martz should be managing a 7-11 somewhere... But if that falls through, sure...send him to the Vikings.
Martz needs to stay in the NFL simply so bA has someone besides Shanhan to direct his NFL realted irritation at.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (panthersare#1)</div><div class='quotemain'>I say the coachs that lose their jobs are Mike Tice, Mike Sherman, Dom Capers, and Jim Haslett</div> sounds about right
I would like to see Martz here. Draft Reggie Bush and get Mike Martz. Now thats a formula for the next Greatest Show on Turf.
I agree. Martz would be fine as an OC. I am sticking with the same request I had after the love boat scandal. Put all the second teamers in, let them play their hearts out, get Reggie Bush and play for next year.
Sherman shouldn't lose his job. If he does, it will be because Ted Thompson's trying to "make his mark" on Green Bay. Injuries, cap problems and having the youngest team in the division shouldn't cause Sherman to lose his job. I agree with your other choices, though.
Mike Tice will go, so will Capers and so will Jim Hasslet. The pack lost a lot this year through injury, if they have a decent draft and get everyone back healthy they will be ok.
