    kobe

Kobe is a great player in the season but he aint no Michael Jordan who played against, Larry BIrd, Magic Johnson, karl malone, John Stockton, Ewing, Robinson, dominique, Drexler, and so on, it was a time in where the defense was promoted and Mike beat all the competition in his prime, Kobe not he is a looser he won the championships because of the diesel not because of him, Jordan is the greatest ever, remember what he did at 40 age in the nba, how in the nba all star he was still able to be like in the first 5 in all nba, he was 40 age and look what he can do in a bad team at that time, is annoying to think that some people who does not have all the tools to make an statement think that Kobe is better, is fucking bullshit if he wants to be better the he will need to prove it , I don't remember any playoff game in where Michael scores just one point in the second half, please michael is Michael and Kobe is a wannabe like a lot in the league, and with respect to the mvp many people thing that because of the 81 points he deserves it but that is just one game, Nash made a better job and I think that lebron deserves the mvp more than kobe this man is a real deal and I think is a better all around than kobe who needs to be more humble to obtain more greatness, what he says about raja is a disrispect, Michael played vs the detroit piston in a time in where if they played by today rules all the fouls given to Mike should be called intentional, but he does not complaint he played like a man he is, like Michael Jordan inside thecourt and as a gentleman outside period.

it is funny that ppl keep on saying Kobe is not as good as MJ, but they r actually compare kobe with MJ inside their hearts. That means everyone actually thinks that kobe is closest to MJ in NBA now lol

It's hard for people to claim Kobe as the true MVP after he let his team loose a 3-1 series lead. And to top it all, to get BLOWN out in HUGE measure in game 7 from right from the starting buzzer basically. His total absence in the second half of game 7 also burns.

Basically Kobe had a great season, got the Lakers to where they werent expected to go and very nearly upset the Suns....but its hard to say he deserves it more than the man that just lead his team back from the brink of elimination, Steve Nash.

absence in the second half? look at this FG%, 8-16 50%. He just didn't take shots in the second half when the team was already losing badly and his teammates gave up the game already. If he took more shots, I am sure he can get at least 30+ pts but it was meaningless since the other lakers weren't doing anything.

BTW, Lebron got 0 pts in the second half of game 1 against the Pistons. Is he sucking badly?

Can you find a game where Michael scored 81? That is the issue, start searching and find the game.

This series was fixed..period. The league made a mistake by giving Nash the MVP and didn't want him to lose in the first round.

It is easy for kobe to get at least 10 pts in the second half. Just go hard to the basket, get some foul shots....He was just trying to get his teammates involved....But it was useless when the other lakers were totally struggling...Kobe knows that he can't win a game against the Suns by himself.

One more question: Do you really think Kobe couldn't put up more points in the 2nd half if he wanted to???

ARG!!!! This pisses me off so badly. HE DID NOT WANT TO TAKE OVER, PHIL JACKSON SAID TO STOP TAKING SHOTS AND GET THE OTHER LAKERS INTO IT. Phil probably knew even if we get past the Suns we are still going to lose if Kobe carried us, he wanted to get the young guys feet wet and prepare them.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">There's no need for personal attacks.</div>

Brasco check out the Kobe hater's posts first. He is the one calling people ignorant, stupid, etc.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Kobe is a great player in the season but he aint no Michael Jordan who played against, Larry BIrd, Magic Johnson, karl malone, John Stockton, Ewing, Robinson, dominique, Drexler, and so on</div>

Kobe has played against Shaq, D-Wade, VC, Jason Kidd, Steve Nash(2 time MVP), Dirk Nowitzki, Tim Duncan, Ron Artest, T-Mac, Paul Pierce....whats your point? That they are now legends? Most of those I named will be legends in the future as Bird, Johnson, and the others are now.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Kobe not he is a looser he won the championships because of the diesel not because of him,</div>

And Shaq would have won without Kobe? Hell no, they were two pieces of a half just like Pippen and MJ were. They needed eachother in order to succeed. Its pretty evident that without one another they are doing pretty much the same.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">remember what he did at 40 age in the nba, how in the nba all star he was still able to be like in the first 5 in all nba, he was 40 age and look what he can do in a bad team at that time,</div>

You mean nothing? Jordan didn't do **** when he was on Wizards. He won nothing.

You don't have the tools to spell. Point being?

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> I don't remember any playoff game in where Michael scores just one point in the second half, please michael is Michael and Kobe is a wannabe like a lot in the league, </div>
You obviously never saw the series if you think Kobe was actually trying. He got 50 points in one game and they lost. He resorted back to pass, pass, pass. They still lost. He didn't shoot that 2nd half because he was trying to get his teamates into it.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">and with respect to the mvp many people thing that because of the 81 points he deserves it but that is just one game, </div>
No one said he deserved MVP because of the 81 point preformance. He deserved it because of all he did this season.

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> but he does not complaint he played like a man he is, like Michael Jordan inside thecourt and as a gentleman outside period.</div>
Yes because we know you have met Mike before [IMG]

Doubt it, I would assassinate Stern if Nash won it 3 times in a row but I think LeBron will take the cake next year.

If Nash wins it again, Canada would most likely elect him Prime Minister. You wouldn't believe the amount of respect and hype he gets up here.

I think Kobe will get it next year too. Statistically, he had it this year, but his team needed more wins. The Lakers reach 50 games, which seems like a possibility the way everyones talking about making moves, and he's a lock.
