I really hope that he's innocent. I belive that 1) Kwame wouldn't do that and 2) IF Kwame did do it then I bet that he would have come out and say it like Kobe did. Don't want your own fans shunning you and hating you because of what you did and plus lying about it.

Innocent until proven guilty. He's not even charged...it's an investigation. He's cleaned his image up, he's settled down with his GF and there's a good chance they'll get married. Kwame has a solid defense, too. He was with his girlfriend all weekend long...are you going to tell me they both raped her?
I heard Kwame's being officially charged with rape... EDIT: The source has now said he made up the allegation...it's still an investigation

Damn...this is the last thing we need. Kwame doens't look like a dude who would go around and rape girls. He looks like a humble, quiet guy in the court but who knows? I think he is innocent nonetheless, just let the truth be told.

I hope he's innocent. Not for his sake, but for the sake of the potential victim. Incidentally, it's estimated that somewhere between 2 and 7% of rape accusations are false. I imagine that may go up for celebrities, but not necessarily a whole lot. If it is a false accusation intended to somehow skew the playoff series, that really fricking sucks. I like to watch basketball, not some weird combination of WWE, 90210 and NBA Street.

i feel for kwame. i just dont think the guy is stupid enough to go out and rape a 16 year old in the middle of an important nba playoff series. but then again, things happen
