Top 5 Lakers Playoff Comebacks

I still remember how coldly quiet it was entering that fourth quarter; it's amazing what the Lakers created out of nothingness to earn their first trip to the NBA Finals and championship.

3. Derek Fisher's fling: This West final Game 5 in San Antonio was a great game (the Lakers blew a 16-point third-quarter lead) with other amazing moments (Tim Duncan's falling-down shot before Fisher's was crazy, and before Duncan's came Kobe Bryant's shot despite exhaustion that required two IV bags afterward). This was more than a one-shot knockout haymaker.

4. Sunday was incomparable as far as impossible developments in a matter of seconds, and it's definitely different to see a team as eager to scrap for a playoff victory as this one was. The dynasty teams didn't even deign to give intentional fouls in hopes of chance victories when already losing late, just letting time run out. But it's also just the first round, kids.

5. Game 2 of the 2004 NBA Finals: The weirdest season ever saw the Lakers apparently back in business only because Bryant lined up that long three-pointer (off a Luke Walton pass, one should note now) to force overtime, where the Lakers tied the series with Detroit, 1-1. Bryant called it the biggest shot he has ever hit (as opposed to the "most fun" shot Sunday), but the Lakers couldn't follow it up with anything in Detroit.</div>
