It is offical Bell has been suspended for 1 game meaning he will miss the game 6 match. i was wondering if there has been any word of the pheonix officals taking action over this suspension. Such as has phoenix officals annouced or said any where they will be making an appeal to bells suspension if this is possible. or has there been any word of the league saying they will be looking into more contact issues within thi series such as kwame and kobes exsseive contact. more info needed

How can you appeal a foul like this? I mean come on.

The only real angle you can attack it from is context and inconsistancy. Look at the other flagrants in this and other playoff series and compare what has and hasn't resulted in suspensions. It's completely inconsistant and doesn't make any sense. That needs to be addressed, and soon. Otherwise the league comes off looking biased and weak.

Out of context, yeah it was a dumb flagrant foul deserving a 1-2 game suspension. However, there are a lot of peripheral and mitigating factors involved. To ignore those factors serves only to promulgate the rumors and negative press.

He as an idiot and should be suspended they were already winning by 15+ and he did a dumb foul because Kobe hit him on the elbow..haha other players in the playoffs were suspended because of less harsh fouls so its a good decision...

yeah good response that was so detailed. Ur san antonio fan so im guessing u know nuthing of the excessive contact thats been going on all series. its just another favour from the league to the lakers. just like game 4. we will still put up 1 hell of a challenge in game 6 but if lakers come out victorious they should know it was undeserving victory as it will be another game were they have been helped to win such as game 4. thankx league for being so biased

there is NO way to justify what bell did, no matter what happened beforehand. he 100% deserves the suspension. how can you even discuss an appeal? were you one of the fans that stood up and clapped when raja fouled kobe? the alleged elbow that raja was complaining about in the first place, guess what. he flopped, just like he did about every other play.

it's funny that bell, a self-proclaimed kobe-stopper was bragging that he'll get into kobe's head, but it turned out to be the other way around. it's pure jealousy. like kobe said, they play 4 times a year. raja doesn't know kobe, and kobe doesn't know raja. yet to have so much animosity towards someone you don't even know personally? jealousy. plain and simple. stop complaining and give bell that hug he so desperately needs.

Man he deserved it because he totally flopped that elbow. if he didnt get that suspension than the lakers would be heated. Kobe has bigger fish to fry neways.

Bell was rightfully suspended. Deal with it.

I'm so tired of hearing that the NBA and its officals are rooting for the lakers. If this is so true, then why is everyone hanging on Nash's nuts for the MVP award? Bell already tried to pull the same close line once before on Chris Kamen. The guy is a dirty player and is just making things worse for his team.

He deserves every minute of that suspension.
