<div class="quote_poster">Quoting The Soft Parade:</div><div class="quote_post">Hasn`t Raja had a past of being a bit like an A-Hole to his teammates. Despite my liking for Kobe, I can see him as like a little bit egotistical.</div>

Hardly...the main reason Raja is a Sun is that former Dallas team mate Steve Nash, the ultimate team player ASKED the organization to go get him. Off the court he is a truly nice person. Won the community service award for the Suns this year.

The interesting thing to me is that Bell has this unique ability to get under players skin and get them to react emotionally...The interesting part is that Jackson and Kobe were able to completely turn the tables on him and make him look (and behave) like an idiot. He got badly beaten at his own scam. I think that is one of the reasons he looked so distressed at the NBA interview.

If flopping makes you a liar, then there are about 9 or ten BIG FAT LIARS on every team in the league. That makes at least 250 liars in NBA uniform.

People don't like Raja because he's almost as good at flopping as Ginobli.
Until the league does something about it, it is as much a part of the game as
the jump shot. ..surely not a moral issue. I am comfortable letting the referees sort it all out. They handled it just right when Raja went postal for a second. They missed the Odom/Barbosa foul (coulda been a flagrant) but geez, the refs did pretty well considering.

BTW, Raja and Kaman in your photo are just sharing a private moment...call it a hug.
I can see Raja flopping in you animation as well..he flops right after Kobe's left forearm catches him in the neck.

The more I see your video Franchise4Ever, the more I think Kobe did it intentionally. There's no reason to bring your elbow that far back to hit him in the shoulder(Yes he got hit at least once, there's the other view of the video zoomed in that shows him getting hit twice, one in the face and 2 in the shoulder). And for the last time, he complained about getting hit in the face MULTIPLE times(multiple means more than 1, since you still don't get it), not just that call. I would love to see you stand there and take the elbows that Kobe was giving out to him. The 2nd one, Ray Allen is going in on him at full speed, lots of people take charges.

The choking is a cheap shot for sure though. Just because you choke someone doesn't mean that you are a liar though.

Raja Bell has always been borderline dirty. I don't quite know what the fuss is about, everybody who watches bball knows this. Kobe prolly did it on purpose, but Bell isn't used to somebody issuing the cheapshots back. Then he wants to get all emotional when he gets hit. YOU REAP WHAT YOU SO

Well, every player flops a little bit here and there but that flop was the one that would qualify him for some serious hollywood movie.
Hmm.. I see the Sacramento Queens try and sign him for next season.

Man those weren't elbows!!!!! Raja's just making it look like he got hit because he's such a flopper.... Plus, what do you expect Kobe to do when Raja's defense is hugging the opponents a$$ with his groin... I would do the same thing to let the defender know to back off... As you could see Kobe was doing that, but Raja keeps flopping, thus, offensive foul... It's funny, you can't hand check a guy, but you can sure ride his a$$...

When you are guarding someone like Kobe, you can't give him anything. Kobe is too good not to be "riding his a$$" on defense. If you give him any room, he will destroy you. You know that. So this isn't giving an elbow? [IMG]. How about giving Barbosa stiches? I'm sure Barbosa was just faking that one too right?

Why is everyone so paranoid about floppers? They take charges, that's what you are supposed to do. It's a turnover for another team. You guys are making it sound like they are committing murder and should be penalized greatly for flopping.

Again, I'm not defending Bell's actions, that was a punk move and it never should have happened, but to say that Kobe wasn't elbowing him the entire time is a joke.

btw, it was stupid to bring this thread back up, but since you called me out I had to reply.

Yah it was, but I had to put my 2 cents into it... The real point I was tying to make is, the refs call fouls on things that are totally ridiculous... I have nothing againts flops, you're right it is part of the game... but when a guy hovers you like that to where "it's got to be called a foul", and you don't get that call, after a while you start doing things to creat space... Shaq's done it, Charles Barkley's done it, everybody has done it... And it seems that refs call little things like brushing by you, or hand checking, or something ticky-tack like that.... But they don't call a foul if a defender is riding your back...

May Kobe reached to the point where he needs to do that, just like Raja reached to the point where he had to stiff arm Kobe; I don't know...

But I think refs need to make the calls when they see the obvious fouls, not the obvious flops... If refs can't see that, then they shouldn't be working in the NBA...

Anyways, this subject's got to be closed....
