<font color=""Black"">If and when we get a veteran PG, Do you think Smush will be fine with coming off the bench?</font>

Smush has some attitude. I don't think he'll like coming off of the bench, but he'll adjust to it. He's not starter material, and I think he's realizing that he'd be better off of the bench.

Man I cant wait tyll the offseason. We need a Veteran PG and Stojakovic who can hit the 3 consistently. That's probably why he isn't playing for the Pacers. He's probably thinking why waste my energy if the Nets are gonna send the Pacers fishing tonight. I just hope we get him.

Hellz Yea! You can tell Stojakovic clearly doesnt want to be there. And the Lakers organization doesnt take that crap. Look what Kwame did in Washington. You think he has the balls to do it here? I think Stojakovic will thrive in L.A. Odom in the Post, Double comes, Kicks to Peja for 3! Lakers lead by 26. Thats what your gonna hear next year! [IMG] Come on Peja! Sign in trade with Jim Jackson.

Peja is a real possibility. Didn't he want to play in LA or Chicago?

I'm looking for a vet PG or a rookie PG who actually has potential (Jordan Farmer), and a shooter.

Besides Vlade is a Laker scout. Hopefully he can get together with his Serbia Montenegro freind and talk him into signing with the Lakers.

I'd love Stojakavic on the Lakers. Other than Kobe and maybe Sasha we really have no perimeter threat. With Stojakavic the Lakers would be hitting threes left and right. And if Kobe's new found attitude towards team basketball continues into next season...almost everyone on the Lakers could evolve instantly. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for a few months.

I think Smush Parker would be alright coming off the bench. This is his first completed season in the NBA and his first year in the playoffs and he owes it to the Lakers to be cooperative.

Jordan Farmar would be a perfect fit for the Lakers.

    wow

i can't believe how quick y'all Laker fans are giving up on Smush as a starter. yeah he's not kidd/nash/paul but those guys aren't available so you deal with what you have. why can't he start? It's true that the best teams have great point guards, but he's so new to the triangle and stuff, i think mitch/phil should start him the first 20 games of next season at least; wait until the FA deadline to ship him or bench him. yes he's too much of a scoring minded PG, well T Parker was like that once too. He just needs to lose that stripe down the middle of his head and learn how to run plays

Im downing on Smush right now because of the Phoenix game, but if you look at his play he is a real descent PG and this is really his first season with some real minutes finally being played. If anything, Stojakavic would be coming off the bench while Smush continues to solidy as a starter.

His problem is consistency, common for most rookies finally getting long minutes..

Turnovers! Turnovers! Turnovers! We need a veteran. Smush looks confused.

There was a play down the stretch where he forced things a little. But in a couple years he can be a great player for us. We dont have the money right now for a PG.
