    Reggie White is a lock.
Aikman will almost certainly make it this time.
Warren Moon SHOULD make it this time.

Thomas and Reed will probably have to wait until next time around.

Also, on a side note, Reggie white has been elected to the racism HOF. A big well done on the bigotry

Awww someone's still bitter from the constant pressure he put on their qb's for the better half of a decade.

I guess BF1 doesn't have a problem about talking about the dead in a negative way.

Or about the living, either. Just ask Brett Favre... [IMG]

As an aside, I think it's safe to say that Reggie White was "ignorant," but not "racist." Reggie truly wanted to help people and was a very charitable, giving person. I can't see him refusing to help someone based on their race or ethnic background.

Regardless of his ill-informed opinions on various cultures, as a religious person, I'm sure he ascribed to the "all men are equal under God" theory of life.

Christ, it's not like we're talking about Hitler here... People need to let Reggie's transgression go (as opposed to Hitler's atrocities should never be forgotten).

This is an NFL legend we're talking about.

What is so bad about talking negative about the dead. that is the point of living your life good, so people will not have a reason to speak ill of you. He made a speech detailing his racism. I am calling him on it. I dont think we should put the man on a pedastal even if he is dead.

Reggie White, the greatest defensive end in NFL history, and Warren Moon should be first ballot locks. Aikman will probably make it and I really can't argue with that. Thurman Thomas should be in the Hall, but I'm not sure it will happen this year. Dermontti Dawson was a great center for the Pittsburgh Steelers and should get into the Hall of Fame, but because he played the offensive line, there is a risk that he will be overlooked. I think Andre Reed was a very good WR, but should he be in the Hall of Fame? His career numbers look very good, but if you look at them year by year, they aren't as impressive. In 16 seasons, he only had four 1,000 yard seasons. He did have three more 900 yard seasons, but that's still less than half his career. Still, 951 receptions and 13,198 yards is impressive. I'm not sure what I think about Andre Reed yet.

I've always liked Andre Reed, but Art Monk and Henry Ellard have yet to make the Hall of Fame. That's why I think Andre Reed gets a "pass" from me, at this point.

What were you saying about Reggie White?

What did he do to earn that racism remark?

He made a speech stereotyping each race of man. Just Google it, and it will come up.
