Kobe Bryant is gonna will the lakers to the second round match-up with the Clippers in game 7 just wait n see
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting NbaBaller:</div><div class="quote_post">It's very possible.....but what exactly is the point of this thread?</div> I think he's trying extra hard to convince himself. Personally I think it's been proven that Kobe can't beat the Suns in this series. Only the Lakers can.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting pgballa11:</div><div class="quote_post">Kobe Bryant is gonna will the lakers to the second round match-up with the Clippers in game 7 just wait n see</div> This is what Laker fans should be scared about, Kobe trying to take over the game. When he shoots 25 shots or more, the Lakers are 1-4 against them(the 1 win was when Kobe took 28 shots and Nash/Raja Bell didn't play since it was the 2nd to last game of the season). The Lakers are 3-2 when Kobe shoots 25 shots or less. So best case scenario for the Lakers is if Kobe passes more than he shoots.
No worries, this is our game to win. We are SUPPOSED to lose to the Suns, they are SUPPOSED to beat us, the pressure is all on them.
shoot less - teammates are doing well shoot more - teammates are struggling when they teammates are struggling, they can't defend too. So you have a image that when Kobe is shooting more, Lakers will lose to the Suns. It is actually becuz the other lakers are struggling and kobe got no choice but to shoot the ball. Just like the end of game 6 when kobe made alot of shots and other lakers were doing **** and couldnt defend, they could only trade basket with the Suns.
So 22 pts 11 rebounds and 9 assists on 8-14 shooting is struggling(He was 8-12 until he jacked up 2 3's when the game was out of reach at the end of the game)???? How about 17 pts 9 rebounds on 8-9 shooting???? How about 14 pts on 5-8 shooting????? Sure Smush was struggling, but the bigs were doing good, they got their big lead early because they were pounding it to the bigs, but then for some reason they went away from it. You basically get 2 pts every single time you give it downlow to Odom/Kwame with the Suns weak frontcourt. Also if you would continue to pass to them, their confidence would go up, which would mean better defense. Kobe needs to keep giving to them, IMO. I don't buy the Lakers struggling, just Kobe trying to be superman.

The rest of the game he distributed the ball fairly, I thought. He had to shoulder some of Smush's scoring load, which is why he shot a bit more, but I didn't think he took any bad shots last night.

Like I said before 8-12(at the time) and 8-9 doesn't sound flat to me. If they kept giving it downlow, they would have won. That is the key tomorrow, you have to give it downlow and hope that Kobe takes under 25 shots. <div class="quote_poster">Quoting philip2136:</div><div class="quote_post">if the suns were that great they couldve beaten us before game 7 so all you sun fans stop hating</div> There is absolutely no hating in this thread.
