The coaching change this offseason that's made the least sense to me is at North Carolina State. First they get rid of Herb Sendek because apparently he's not what the fans were looking for in terms of personality, but then they bring in dull, boring Sidney Lowe? Maybe they'll like him for a while because he's a former player at N.C. State, but in the long run, he's just as lacking of a personality as Sendek is, and from a basketball standpoint, you can't find a worse coach. He was loved in the NBA because he didn't demand much from his players; he went easy on them, and it was reflected on his team records. Did he ever have a winning season as a head coach? I can't think of one.
