<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Franchise4Ever:</div><div class="quote_post">Steven Hunter anyone? Good blocker and he is very underrated and unnoticed.</div>

No, stay away from him. He shows signs of greatness, but is more inconsistent then the Lakers are now. Supposedly he is really dumb as well and dumb people can't play in the triangle offense. He plays dumb on the court, but I have never met him, so I don't know if he really is dumb, that's just the rumors.

No, the reason why the Pistons traded Darko and Arroyo for Cato was to get enough cap room to resign him.

I cannot believe the Lakers let a 3-1 lead just slip away like this.. unbelievable

The Lakers only chance is if Ben Wallace signs for our MLE, which would never happen, or if the Lakers work out a sign and trade with the Pistons. Both scenarios are highly unlikely.

Rumors aren't the best to go off of, and from what I've seen of him he is pretty good.

Kobe took only 3 shots the whole second half. He scored one point (on a technical foul).

    What the hell happened?

That's the kind of performance that can completely erase a player's reputation. I can't imagine what's going on in his head right now.

AWW BS! I hate this ****

Kobe pulled a T-mac. Being up 3-1 and then losing the next 3 in a row.

T-Mac was 8th seed, with less help, and he got his team up in Orlando up 3-1. He averaged like 54 in the series, had a 62 point game.

I kind of think this shows even Kobe Bryant is going to have a hard time getting out of the first round (w/o Shaq)

That's what I want to know as well. Hopefully they address it in the press conference.

Yeah, rumors aren't good to go off of, but he was a huge head scratcher when he was on the Magic. He looked lost out there most of the time. He would step out of bounds almost every time he touched it. Tmac set him up for a lot of easy chances, he just wouldn't convert. He would have an occasional 15 pt 7 rebound 3 block game, but it was like 1 out of every 10 games and those games inflated his avg to 3 pts and 3 boards. He could be good for the Lakers, but don't expect better production than the guys that you have now. I would just play Ronny Turiaf more, becaues he would have better production for you guys then Steven Hunter. Just my personal opinion of watching him for 3 years on the Magic and being yet another Magic bust.

Oh and I was one of the few people who wanted him to have more chances.

Did you guys heard what the fat Barkley said? He said Kobe is selfish for taking only 3 shots and his reason was kobe is trying to prove a point. haha, then Kenny Smith backing Kobe up saying no matter what, if he shoots 30 shoot, he's selfish, if he takes 10 shots, he's still selfish. haha This is amazing, I love the haters.

He always takes shot at Kobe, the other game he said Kobe shot too much. Oh well.

I'm glad we drafted Brian Cook instead of Leandro Barbosa. [IMG]

Phil said get the other plays into it and shoot less. Its understandable...I think... He wanted to get the youngin's feet wet and passed more.

Young team? The Lakers team was extremely inexperienced and young. They couldn't take the mental load and crushed under it. Kobe didn't try to take over and even through the mental "instability" Kobe tried to get his teamates into it. I feel next year we will definitly get past the first round.

Not sure where you got that information. McGrady averaged 31.7 ppg in that series. His 62 point game came in the regular season, the following year.

Steven may have been a Magic bust but I think he is doing fairly good in Philly. If given the right time and some small improvements this guy could be a baby Marcus Camby.

Both my teams failed in the playoff but I guess thats the penalty for favoring such young teams....
