The Ravens are going into a downward spiral after the loss to the Chicago Bears. They have put Alan Richard (RB) on Injured Reserve. Jamal hasn't said much about his contract due to his frustration on the field and the running game. This may be cause of the fact that our FB's aren't blocking that much for him. So a rookie by the name of Justin Green, WHO? Justin Green will try to block for Jamal on Monday's game at Pittsburgh.

Speaking of contracts, there will be many of unrestricted free agents after the year and this is the time of the year to prove their worth.

    Tony Weaver (DE)
    Tommy Polley (OLB)
Who was unsatisfied with the Rams in his final contract was soon picked up by the Ravens.
    Will Demps (S)
If Demps isn't resigned, the Ravens may have to go look for another safety in the draft or another free agent and possibly Chad Williams might get to start next year.
    Maake Kemoeatu (DT)
    Chester Taylor (RB)
The Browns saw something in Chester but the offer was matched by the Ravens to keep him for one year and he has shown to be a potential starter next year if Jamal doesn't get it together.
    Dave Zastudil (P)
    Anthony Wright (QB)
    Deion Sanders (CB)
    Dale Carter (CB)
    Chad Williams (S)
    Randy Hymes (WR)
    Darnell Dinkins (TE)
    Bart Scott (LB)
He is playing in place of Ray Lewis next week and possibly for the next month.
    Ed Reed (S)
He is playing his final year of his contract and since he was a DPOY last year, his value is very high if he hits the market.

Ed Reed may be returning next week, that's a good thing but Ray Lewis isn't. He may be out for a month. That's right, a month! He will miss both games against Pittsburgh and may be back playing against the Texans. Just if you're wondering, Boller is downgraded to Doubtful against the Steelers. He will be coming off his injury soon.

So looking into the future (looks at the crystal ball), I predict that the Ravens may have a long season with so many injuries. I can't see them go any higher than 7-9 and may rank 3rd or 4th in the division. And in the draft, it will look like this:

    1st Round - QB
    2nd Round - FS (Optional)
    3rd Round - FS (If didn't in round 2)
    4th Round - Any
    5th Round - RB
6th Round - P (If Dave Zastudil is not on the roster)
    7th Round - Any

Note: This may change depending on what they do in the free agency time period.

I so want jamal lewis on the panthers. When Jamal isnt faced with 9 in the box, he can run throw defenses. Also Ed Reed would be a great pickup for anyteam

I think they wont sign most of the unrestricted free agents and start over like the 49ers.

I wouldn't mind having Demps or (fellow U of Utah alum)Maake Kemoeatu migrate down to S Florida.

If Miami continues their trend of caretaker QB's then I wouldn't mind seeing Anthony Wright in Aqua & orange.

So I guess the whole Brees to Miami thing was just thrown out the window because the Chargers are 25$ million under the cap eh?
