Man gilbert what happened i like him but he choked at the line, then damon hit the trey this series was crazy i was so sure it was headed for a game 7. Cavs vs Pistons up next.
Man, Gilbert didn't deserve to have his playoffs ende like it did. He was all heart, all series, and unfortunately, he's gonna have to think about those two FTs for a long time. I'm happy the Cavs won this game, but could they have played any worse in OT and still won? I doubt it. I've givin DJ a lot of crap this year, and as far as I'm concerned, it's a truce now.
"If you miss both free throws, the game's over, you're going home." That's what lebron said he just spoke to reporter's, damn he already mastered the art of trashtalking...i can't believe that actually worked though.

Man this game was cccrazy, sorry to see the series end already. The pistons are going to be brutal though.

Congrats to the Cavs advancing, I think LeBron v. Gilbert could develop into a nice little rivalry. These teams could face off quite a few times in the postseason when all is said and done. Caron Butler had an amazing game with 20 REBOUNDS! He was doing all he could against LeBron in the series, but LeBron is arguably playing the best basketball in the post season right now. Not to compare LeBron to Jordan, but early in his career, Jordan was constantly beaten by the Pistons in the playoffs. LeBron is going to experience another level of basketball in the next round, it should be interesting to see how he adjusts and how quick he can figure out the Pistons. We are all witnesses.
Let's not throw the word "choke" around so easily. I find it annoying when people say a player "choked" just because he missed a few baskets. Arenas was brilliant most of the night. He hit a ridiculous 30 footer to tie the game in regulation. He averaged like 35 ppg for the series. And he should have gotten credit that key basket on which Varajao goaltended.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">And he should have gotten credit that key basket on which Varajao goaltended.</div> A lot of no calls amazingly happened, such as LeBrons 3 instances of traveling. I'm not saying with those calls the Cavs would be going home but things would have been way different and we would be seeing atleast a game 7
Regardless of all the non-calls, the series is over. No way to change that. And the Wizards are going fishing! lol
Gilbert played good, but LeBron took the series to the next level. Next we get to play the Pistons. A stacked team of 5 all stars.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Its easy to talk trash when you have the NBA in your pocket. </div> get outta here Kobe fan, but what an amazing game and series.....and you gotta love Bron's trash talk to Arenas on the FT line.......classic!!!
Bron talking trash on the free throw line is not a characteristic of a normal 3 year player. Your starting to see signs of veteran type play from a 21 year old. No telling what will happen in the Piston series. I think LeBron is fired up now and it's going to take alot to stop him.
Hey, gotta give props to Donyell Marshall as well; he had a season high 28 points off the bench, and it couldn't have came at a bigger time.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Franchise4Ever:</div><div class="quote_post">Its easy to talk trash when you have the NBA in your pocket.</div> And you complain about Kobe haters going into the Laker forum? Not calling you a hater, but don't be a hypocrite.
A little off topic, but I remember Charles Barkley psyched Scottie Pippen out when the Suns faced the Bulls in the Finals and Pippen was at the line. I don't remember the score, but I think Pippen had a chance to tie the game or give Chicago the lead. Right before he shot Barkley walked up to him and said, "Your butt cheeks are so tight from the pressure you couldn't fit a pencil up there." Scottie Pippen missed wide left.
