Already up by 3 td's w/ 30 seconds left in the game, Shanahan goes it for and 4th down deep in Eagles territory. With that margin of victory over a quality opponent, I expect to see the Broncos vault over Texas and USC in the next BCS standings.
I've seen several teams do that against the Vikings this year. It seems to be a trend starting by coaches to run the score up.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (N_Burleson4life)</div><div class='quotemain'>what are they supposed to do, give the ball back to the other team?</div> Depends. If they are in field goal range, you kick it. If not, punt the ball. You are not going to lose the game regardless of the play you choose.
Totally smart move. You know who isnt pissed, His team. That is all that matters, he isnt going to see eagles again anyway

They are in good shape
its not like they were throwing the ball....they handed it off, and the RB scored....2 things, if a football player doesnt want to see the score run up on his team, he should grow a pair of testicles and tackle the player before he scores, 2nd, I do think the Eagles are going to the Super Bowl, I have it on good authority they were in contact with Mike Tice about purchasing tickets for the whole team....

If the Broncos had been throwing the ball, then this accusation might bare some weight. I can't fault the Broncos for running the ball. They were probably just trying to make a first down and then take a knee. So, why are people blaming the Broncos because the Eagles defense sucks so bad that they can stop an obvious running play from turning into a score? Of course, this is the same team that can't stop one rogue player from wearing enemy colors, so the Eagles' lack of testicular fortitude shouldn't surprise anyone.
