I don't know if he's actually available, but according to this Milwaukee writer he thinks they should consider shopping him and take a chance on Wiliams and Bell. He thinks that TJ's too small and as he showed in the playoffs against the Pistons was a huge liability on defence. I'll cut Ford some slack because after all it was Detroit, but if he was truely available would you guys be interested in TJ becoming a Raptor? <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">I'd put T.J. Ford on the market as well, mostly because the Bucks can never be anything more than they are with him running the point. He's too small to defend - Chauncey Billups got 37 on him in Game 4, Rip Hamilton 40 in Game 5 - and had to be benched at times this season for not playing hard. Mo Williams and Charlie Bell come back next season for a combined $1.6 million; play those overachievers until something better could be found.</div> Link - <font color=""Red"">Click here</font>
I would, he and Bosh are close freinds, the chemistry there already works out, besides, i love TJ's game.
LOL.. ^.. Well TJ is sort of pass first shoot 2nd player.. He's a good PG and probably will improve though i do see Bucks trading him but at what cost? What will the Raps give up to get him?
No, I'm fine, for a guy who was called a true PG all through his rookie year, he learnt to score, and just became a turnover prone not so true PG.
I mean, you guys know that Mike is leaving, why not take a chance on him you the Raps don't draft a PG?
Why would it be a chance if we take on Ford? Is it a bad thing at all? If it's JR Smith or something, I'd understand "taking a chance", but Ford is one of the better point guards in the NBA and very young still. He's a good passer, someone we definitely need (forget Mike James). If we get him, I'd be ecstatic.
Yea, the PG draft is not that strong anyways, i think getting TJ would be a great piece to our puzzle yet to be solved.
Why not get ford he'd make our team run so much better and create and so much better him and calderon would be two pretty good true pgs but i doubt he is avaliable and even if he is we might have to give up something tood to get him like peterson.
yeah i don't think the bucks would give up ford for nothing less than our lottery pick this year plus some other minor incentives like a joey graham. ford is a game changer- last year when ford was out they were a lottery team, this year with his return they are playoff team.
Milwaukee winning 10 more games than last year if far from a Ford thing. That can also be attributed to mmm...let's see, Bobby Simmons, Andrew Bogut, Jamaal Magloire, and even Charlie Bell. Let's not act like they just had last year's team with Ford added. Also Ford hasn't had the same impact as a playmaker. He's very quick and fast and can use that to cause problems on the break, but he hasn't had the same impact that he did as a rookie in terms of being a playmaker. This season they were 6-4 in the 10 games he was injured, and Charlie Bell and Mo Williams played excellently.
