anyone have a link? i doubt that BK would send AI to a team in the same division, but it could happen considering we are trying to rebuild, but the knicks really have no one i would want in return for a superstar in AI
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Psycho Drama:</div><div class="quote_post">Isiah wants everyone. He's probably thinking about signing me right now.</div> We already signed you, Ime Udoka. You're probably not making the team next year, though. Anyway, as said above, this is just rumor time. Last year there were similar rumors floating around. Besides, I don't know anything the 76ers would want for Iverson other than our expiring contracts, but that would leave a mess at the guard position. Marbury, Iverson, Francis, Crawford, and Robinson makes absolutely no sense. The real players that really seem to be on our radar are: Kevin Garnett, Jermaine O'Neal, Jared Jeffires and a couple of other guys.

The Knicks need A.I like a hole in the head. He doesnt solve any of their real problems. The biggest of which is defense. In fact he could just add more fuel to the fire because of his shoot first, shoot later, shoot some more and when the game is over pass the ball once or twice mentality. Isiah should pass on A.I and focus his efforts on Jermaine O'neal. Anyway I think Isiah Thomas should be fired.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> Anyway I think Isiah Thomas should be fired.</div> He never stops saying that! I and I think EVERYONE knows already! I also think he should be fired....but AI to NY? Lol that would be great, Stephon, Francis, and AI all on one team.

more i think about it, the more i think its just some stupid new york writer with nothing else to do with his time but starting BS rumors
I'm pretty sure Brown is happy to hear he gets to coach another undersized shooting guard. I mean Iverson is a better player than Francis or Marbury, but he doesn't exactly solve their point guard problem. Larry wants a pure point guard and that's what Isiah should look for.
^^yea, that makes sense...lets have francis, starbury and iverson all on the same roster. certainly a trade involving iverson wouldnt involve either of them lol

The only way it'd work is if you traded one of ur "big 3"- Jalen Rose, Stephon Marbury, or Steve Francis straight up for AI. You could throw in some other players for sh*ts and giggles but the only contracts you have (since in a brilliant stroke of genius Isiah traded away penny's $16million contract for nothing) to match up with AI's are those 3 players. If you could trade Stephon for A.I.- Francis for Jermaine and Jalen Rose for some wonder bread, you might not be all that bad next season. And Indiana does want a point gaurd...
