<div class="quote_poster">Quoting playmaker15:</div><div class="quote_post">Agreed, Antoine was huge last night and he really gave us a lift in the first half. DWade comes back after another injury after that elbow and takes over he was out of control. James Posey or Dwyane just can't stop Vince so they should switch their focus onto Jefferson and Kidd because there is no one on the Heat's roster that can stop Vince. Jefferson struggled last night and the key was shutting down Kristic. I think Miami wins in 5. Let's go HEAT!</div> Hey we dont have to stop VC. As long as we win the game, I don't care if VC gets 82 points.
Besides, VC had the QUIETEST 43pts you'll ever see. Too many youngens are focused on stats nowadays that they don't know what "empty stats" are. Anyone who was watching that game knows that Wade's points, while scoring 13 less, had a way bigger impact than VCs.

Again, VC could score all he wants, just turn the ball over for us or fancy-dribble for 24 seconds from time to time should help us out a lot.
Alright game 4 today. I think this is the one that Shaq will take overe for the simple fact that it is...Mother's Day. Shaq is the type of guy that gets fired up about that kind of stuff so I look for him to come out and dominate Jason Collins from the start. Dwyane Wade will also need to have a big game. Also, look for one of the bench guys to have a strong game, Derek Anderson and James Posey would be the most likely to hve big games. Heat need to focus on shutting down RJ and Kidd becuase they won't shut Vince down. If you stop Kidd you can basically stop the offense.

The Heat played tight D when VC brought up the ball, and the pick and roll/pop came way to early for the Raps, inbetween the 3 point line and half court, causing a turnover once and a jump ball another time (Good D and switch by Shaq). Carter had the right idea by attempting to pass to Nenad on a fast break, but it was not long enough. I said at the beginning, that if the Nets can shut down VC and Krstic, they can win the series, and so far Krstic hasn't really been a factor. He had about, 14, 15 shots last game, and about a third of them, and basically all were open jumpshots. Those were shots he usually made, and had he made a higher percentage of them, the Nets would of won and made it much closer down the stretch. The pressure is on the Nets today to win, so I'll look for them to come out aggressively, looking to get Nenad going early. The Heat need to continue to do what they did in game 3 if they want to win this game. Walker putting the ball on the floor and creating is a key.
Well another grind it out game here, Miami has gone on a bit of a run now so we need to keep it going. Udonis has been HUGE in the last 2 minutes. The game totally changed when he came back into the game. Also, bring in Jason Williams, he was playing very well.
Heat take the lead in teh series. Wade was huge, came up big when they needed him, and Walker and Haslem dominated today. Payton had a clutch 3 as well, helping the Heat to victory. The Heat did a very good job on Carter, despite the stats, trapping him and having 3-4 bodys directed right at him, forcing him to give up the ball.
Vince Carter's shot selection is killing the Nets in this series. 0-7 from behind the arc and only 4 FTAs. With Richard Jefferson playing on a tweaked ankle, Carter has to be the player attacking the rim and looking to draw contact. Dwyane Wade continues to play efficient basketball for the Miami Heat, and his doing a wonderful job of choosing his spots to attack or be the initiator. Udonis Haslem played his best game of the post season thus far with 20 points and a lot of effort on the glass. Heat are now 6-0 when leading at halftime in the playoffs. They should be able to end the series in Game 5. The Nets have to be completely demoralized after losing two straight on their homecourt.
Great win for the Heat, we set ourselves up nicely coming to Miami with a 3-1 lead. What really impressed me about today was Wades jumper, its great that he has added that shot to his arsenal because it makes him so much more dangerous. Wade played good, along with the Diesel, but it was the role players that gave us the W today, Walker played great, and Haslem also came up big. For us to win we need the role players to do their thing as well, if everyone is connecting like this and we play defense we really have a chance of getting that title. We have been hot lately taking the last three against a team that owned us in the regular season and we are playing alot better then we did in the 1st series, hopefully we keep increasing our level of play so that we're hot as can be when we face Detroit.
Wow I didn't expect them to get 2 wins on the road. I like the way we are handling this series. Sure the Pistons will be like NBA Final level and much harder than the Nets. I hope we can carry the heat until June. Go Heat!
If we keep this up, we will definately contend with ANY team. I think we'll take game 5 and prepare for Detroit. Watch because Detroit may lose again tonight becuase clevland knows they have to win their home games. I really think we have a shot against Detroit.
It's great that Shaq + Wade + Haslem + Walker combined for 87 of our points. Walker's play has been the reason we were able to get those two road wins. He's been struggling at Home but played a lot better in on the road. Haslem was huge and, like last season against NJN in the ECQ, Haslem was big in the clutch and hit the Nets with some big daggers.
Toine has been awesome as stated above. DWade making his teamates better even when he is struggling. Shaq in foul trouble...again. Zo has also been a force tonight. Posey jsut hit a big trey as well.
Up 5 DWade is getting on track. Zo's emotions are fueling us right now. Has anyone noticed how RJ cries after every Nets foul?
WOW!!!!!!!!! DWADE what an awesome defensive play on the final possesion. Congrats to the Nets on a great year but the Heat was just to much. Toine really stepped up and that's why he was braught here to hit big shots like that.
Yeah Wade had no-no game tonight but boy Antoine went on crazy mode for us. We can rest our big daddy now. Go Heat!!
Eastern Conference Finals Baaaby!!!!!! Heat want revenge this Eastern Conference finals and will win it this year son!!! This Game 5 was great, now we get to chill and relax, and wait for Detroit all tired after trying to guard Bron. This game was amazing, and Walker really came up big; finally the roster Riley put together is clicking and playing great great basketball. <font color=""Red"">GOO HEAAAAATT!!!!</font>
