Adelman compiled 395-229 record in his time in Sacramento while leading the team to playoff appearances in each of his seasons in Sacramento.

Source have told the Sacramento Bee that GM Geoff Petrie will make an official annoucment at 3:00 PM Pacific.</div>

With the news of Rick Adelman not returning in Sacramento, which current NBA team do you feel would most benefit by hiring him on as their Head Coach?

Two situations I could see him doing well in are with the Raptors and with New York. I'm on the fence about Atlanta but I think they would improve under his him.

I sort of saw the Raptors, given how Sam Mitchell isnt in a good situation among the fans(some ridiculous plays that are called late game). But Colanagelo said he was behind Mitchell, so I'm not too sure about that even happening.

I agree with your sentiments about New York, but im not sure if it would be a big improvement. I think alot of the improvement with that team would relate to having a better team being assembled.

I'm interested to see him in New York, but I doubt it because Larry Brown is there and even if he got to the Knicks how much better could he do. Golden State's a possibility, there's some good pieces in Baron Davis, Jason Richardson, and Troy Murphy.

Milwaukee Bucks (I know Schaddy would hate it, another non-defensive minded coach)

They have a lot of pieces needed to run Adelman's style of offense.

Michael Redd is the lights out shooter to spread a defense and will get a lot of wide open looks from the ball movement.

Andrew Bogut would thrive in the high post, orchestrating the offense just like Vlade and CWebb used to do for the Kings. He has great court vision, can hit the mid range jumper, and can pass with either hand.

TJ Ford is the penetrating PG, who can transition from defense to offense and lead the fastbreak.

Bobby Simmons would probably be a lot more valuable coming off the bench to provide scoring. His defense really went south when he signed that big contract with the Bucks. He's also not a very good ball handler.

The Bucks would only need to add a defensive specialist who could handle the ball on offense (Doug Christie type player).

Adelman has been successful at building teams into annual playoff contenders. I think Milwaukee would be a great fit.

New york i think would remain the same no matter who the coach is. They never shouldve signed so many ballers that dont share the ball and have that shoot first pass later mentality so i think raptors would benefit

Raptors need continuity more than they need Adelman..Mitchell is a good coach.
