<div class="quote_poster">Quoting I-Miss-MJ:</div><div class="quote_post">Could Marion play Power Forward?</div> Yeah, he basically played power forward when Amare was there and when he left. Boris played center when Amare was out. Boris Diaw Shawn Marion James Jones/ Tim Thomas/ Sometimes Barbosa Raja Bell Steve Nash
Could we then keep Marion as a power forward and still have Deng/Noc? Chandler will be gone, so that leaves his spot for Marion.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Ed!:</div><div class="quote_post">^ Tyson in Phoenix would actually be great, with Tyson's athleticism and length, Steve Nash would have a field day. But yeah, we'd be pretty small. If we could sign Wallace and draft Saer Sene, I'd be fine with it, But I still doubt PHX will do that trade. Watch Saer Sene here, dude's a beast.</div> Great clip, the guy has enormous potential, but believe me, he's not ready for the NBA yet. If we draft him (which i'm not against), it would be better to leave him in europe for 2 years. Take it from a guy who's from Belgium. He wasn't even ready to be a full time starter in our league this year. The guy has to play right now. let him get experience and adapt to the speed of the game in belgium, and then start talking about bringing him over to chicago.
<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">If a trade sending the Bulls' top pick (No. 2 overall) in Wednesday's draft, along with Tyson Chandler, to Phoenix for Shawn Marion sounds too good to be true, that's because it is. The Racine (Wis.) Journal-Times reported Thursday that the Bulls and Suns were giving "serious thought'' to such a deal. Bulls general manager John Paxson shot down the report Friday. ''There's no truth to [it],'' he said. Phoenix coach Mike D'Antoni also told the East Valley/Scottsdale (Ariz.) Tribune this week that the 6-7, 228-pound Marion -- who averaged 20.4 points, 11.7 rebounds, 1.85 steals, 1.6 assists and 1.15 blocks in the Suns' 20-game playoff run to the Western Conference finals -- is not on the market. "You can ignore it [the rumors],'' D'Antoni said. "I'll tell you what's going to happen: Someone will call me and I'll listen, because you always have to listen. And then we'll go, 'No.' And then it will be in the paper the next day that we're interested.</div> Source
My top three choices are... 1. LaMarcus Aldridge (Texas) - - - - 2. Bargnani (Italy) 3. Bradon Roy (Washington)

Either roy, aldridge, thomas I dont really care to be honest. Whichever we pick i think we'll be fine. I doubt we'll get much blame if anyone of them turns out to be a bust. Because the way i think of it is. Coming into this draft everyone knows there is not an impacat player. Everyone knows this draft is very weak at the top. Therefore the expectations will be lower. I also dont really know much about the prospects so thats why i dont really care...
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting NaKz:</div><div class="quote_post"> I also dont really know much about the prospects so thats why i dont really care...</div> To be honest with you the only thing keeping Aldridge away from being an immediate factor in the league right now is his strength. Which with his work ethic should improve rather easily. I think Aldridge will have a Channing Frye rookie season. His rookie season he will rely on his mid range game, and occasionally his back up game, but his second season I think he will be a big time factor in our offense. Roy I think could be a great scorer in the future as well. He has all the physical tools, but he has had knee injuries in the past while in college, so who knows how long his career will be. Thomas is the only guy that scares me. I would rather Bargnani over him.
Man I don’t know about you guys, but I’m pumped for this draft us Bulls fans have waited longer than anyone for this draft, since we didn’t have a pick in last years, and now we have two lottery picks. I don’t think this draft is as bad as people make it out to be. Of course there is no immediate Lebron James type player, but I think there is well over a dozen guys with star potential in this draft. Three more days!!!
I also wanted a 2nd round pick this year. I thought we might have been able to get a steal because this draft is so deep.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting SP23:</div><div class="quote_post">I also wanted a 2nd round pick this year. What we will give up I am not sure, but I would think it would be cash consideration, and Pargo. However, this will only happen on draft night when the team we will be trading with are on the clock.
