He isn't my favorite character but he brings a lot of things to the plot of Lost and him dieing would be a mistake. I consider him one of the main characters, and if they decide they want to kill someone off it should be someone like Jin or Sun. Unlike Locke, they don't bring much to the show, and they are just simply not as important as John. It does seem like he will die but I am defiantely not for it at all.
I think Jack, Locke, Kate, and Sawyer are all safe from getting killed off. Too many people like them and many of the main plot lines run through these four characters while people like Hurley, Jin, Sun, or Claire are of little significance.
Wow. Killer Episode. Some stuff left unanswered but still everything is just building and building... I can`t wait till February 7th.

I'm bumping this because a ton of **** has happened and the season finale is next week. What the hell is up with this Jacob guy? He's invisible, higher ranking than Ben, and wants Locke to help him? Is it just me or is the storyline getting borderline pathetic. Also, I can't believe Locke got shot. He better be alright because he is one of my favorite characters. LOST just a new deal for three more seasons, 16 episodes per season. My question is, are they going to keep introducing more and more questions (such as Jacob, parachuting lady, etc.) or are they going to start answering some stuff that everyone wants to know about (the numbers, the monster, random polar bears, Walt and Michael, etc.)? Hopefully it's the latter because I'm sick of not understanding anything and having even more things that don't make sense piling up.
They're going to keep on feeding us this "crap" until the final episode of Lost, where they will explain everything in 45 mins. They have sucked us into the show, and they'll make sure we stay till the end of it. I mean we're in season three, and they still haven't explained season one to the full extent.

LOST is definitely must see TV because if you miss one episode, you miss a lot. I just wish I still looked forward to watching it (rather than feeling obligated) like I used too.

Explaining everything suddenly would be pointless and would take out all the anticipation that the fanbase has built up and made it such a hit show. I don't know about you but when they revealed that Jack's dad was also Claire's dad this season even though it was known way back when by fans was a great moment. It's the ability to fill in a story anywhere, anytime that makes the shoe exciting. Anything can be added on anytime and still make sense.

I'm hoping the last season is amazing, answering all of our questions and shocking everyone with the secrets of the island. I really hope the writers have everything all planned out and I'm pumped for the next couple of seasons.
