HOW COULD THEY DO THIS TO MMEE!!? I was sitting 2 inches away from my T.V, eyes peeled on the screen, and they end with so much suspense. What exactly happened? They got off the island, or is it something else? I can not wait till October.

Why should they have stayed and where is that flash foward scene going to lead off at
If they really did get off the island, this show will not last 3 more seasons. I hate these summer breaks, they make me mad.
That was a glimpse of the future. And Jack is crazy! Maybe the rest of the seasons will be off of the island. Like the survivors are off of the island but they show what happened once they were rescued. Then they send investigation teams back to the island to uncover the mysterys and stuff, I don't know.

What is their purpose on the island???? Why is Walt's spirit still floating around??? Why did Locke have to kill Naomi......I understand she's probably not a good person, but she was no strain on the eyes...why couldn't he have taken out the old mans wife??? Who is Naomi working for??? <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">anytime that makes the shoe exciting.</div> yeah there's some kind of point to Charlies shoe floating up... My guess is they'll still be on the island come next season......
Jesus Christ I love this show......and to think I ran into it on accident when I was bored one night in the summer of '05 and watched the first episode....I've been hooked ever since..
^^^^^^^^^NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO....where did you hear this? does anyone think something is special about Charlies shoe that floated to the top of the water during the previous episode????...the camera was really focused in on it.... also a few of episodes ago when they flashed back to desmond meeting Penelope at that monk temple you could see a picture of the old white lady who helps desmond see into the future in a picture frame on one of the monks desk here's a good place to go for clues, info, character connections, etc http://lostfanfic.blogspot.com/
That was amazing. The single greatest television moment I've ever witnessed. No sporting event comes close. No musical event comes close. No movie comes close. That's pure emotion. I teared up at the end. The unsaid dialogue and the pain in Jack's eyes alone encompass everything that is great about this show. I love that it isn't just a "will they get off this island" type of show, as seeing it by that alone, makes it very dull. I think incorporating the thematic structures of outside life, and longing for this utopia that is the island in a sense is what makes it so wonderful. I feel a lot of joy from this episode. With past episodes, I felt as if they were just cliff-hangars wanting me to wait until next season to figure out some kind of puzzle. Lost has transformed into a show where you're happy to be in the present with it, and not necessarily long for the next episode and next clue, and next action adventure. I guess I don't quite know how to explain what I feel, but hopefully in the coming days when this shock and awe droops down I can report back.
This episode was pretty great because: 1) Locke is alive! And Walt was with him (or at least his spirit was). 2) Kate looked really hott in that glimpse of the future. 3) Ben got his ass kicked and a lot of the Others were wiped out. 4) Last, Hurley was a hero! I felt bad for him but he saved the day. Hopefully the last three seasons are as good as this season finale was.

<div class="quote_poster">Swish Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">This episode was pretty great because: 1) Locke is alive!</div> yea but was that viewing jack went to locke's? nobody went to it and nobody really liked locke and he never knew anybody.
I'm over LOST, lost all interest in it. Just drags on too long, they never answer anything, its just stupid now, I'm positive even the writers themselves have no idea whats going on, they just keep writing confusing storylines which have no real conclusion.
I was thinking that too MainMan. Then I thought maybe it was Sawyer's viewing (which is why Jack asked Kate if she went).
yea a lot of people are thinking its sawyer but im pretty stern on thinking its locke. Also I was in a lost chat room(yea im pathetic)..a lot of people are saying the oxycodone jack is trying to take is a big deal as they zoomed in on it..not sure what meaning it has. Also jack's dad is alive?
I admit, up until the last (or last two or whatever the heck that was) episode, I was getting bored of the show. But what a kickass finale! I've been saying Sayid is a b'dass since day one (and I don't think anyone disagrees), and when he broke that guys neck with his feet I was jumping up and down in my seat! Sadly, the episode was a real cliffhanger. Who are the guys on the boat? Who are the original inhabitants of the island? Who is Jacob? What is the island? Who was the person in the coffin? What happened that made Jack want to go back to the island (I was thinking New World Order when I saw the last flashforward, but that's probably because I'm interested in that kind of stuff)? If it is indeed true that we'll have to wait until January for the next episode, then that sucks. One more thing: does anyone else get pissed of at the stupid things characters in these kinds of shows do or forget to do? If I was in the situation Charlie and Desmond was in, I would have ensured in any way possible that Mikhail was dead before leaving him out of sight. idiots...
